• Frankly, I do not believe there is or will be any god. Also, I really do not care what religion any person wants to follow. But, despite this, people have been cold-hearten with not just me, but most people within atheism. Lies about our presumed unpropitious natures have circuited the Internet and physically manifested into the real world. I did not want to make a big deal about this, but I've passed my breaking point, and surely others have with me. To show you what I mean, here is an example of the ignorance some people have with atheists.

"Atheists eat babies, so they are evil."

Okay, first, that is disgusting, and, second, you do not have enough proof to show that ALL atheists eat babies. As far as I know, no accounts of infant cannibalism have even been reported in the past decade, much last the past century. This is a stereotype most Christians and other religious groups relate with atheism.

Another convention religious groups have are that if past atheists do something evil, they all are evil. They mostly relate to Adolf Hitler, murderer of minorities; or Kim il-Sung, former dictator of North Korea, even though Kim il-Sung is Buddhist.

Also, they say how we think the universe was created does not make any sense. While I do discern that, it is very hypocritical, as we think nothing exploded and made everything, and they think nothing birthed a god-like figure who made everything out of nothing. None make sense, yet most use it as a basis of argument.

Scientific proof impugns the relation to a god, but some still think a god did it, which I don't really have much concern about. The problem is when they get in an argument and need proof. They use THE BIBLE as proof. How do you know the book was written my a god? Even if it was, how would they transcript it? In fact, how did they even FIND the original document? Most books written at the era of Jesus were written in cuneiform, Old Greek, Old Latin, or Old Roman, which have little, if not no, relation to their modern correspondent language. Cuneiform doesn't even exist anymore!

So this was my essay about the revulsion some people have against atheists. I did not mean to hurt people or tell them they cannot worship this or that, it's just my views on how most religious groups react to us.
