As Cold as the Snow Frosted Window
She stands in the absence of feeling.
as the warmth she seeks denies
the gratitude of revealing itself.
Nothing of any mind, soul, or heart
knows of the assailment her adamant will
has received and absorbed.
The attempts to repel the brunt of it all
have proven inefficacious and all she can do
is sit in front of her window becoming lost and
as cold as the frost that laces itself along the edges
of the glass to another world.

I saw this picture my friend had taken, and right away i was inspired to right this poem. the words had just went onto the paper so fluidly and without much thinking. and it turned out AMAZING in my eyes. enjoy
(btw the title is in the poem itself because it wouldn't let me type the whole title in the title section XD better hit that up in the forums to tell them what needs "fixed" :P - Date: 07/15/2008

Tighten up your diction.
The big words look rather alien amidst a lot of little ones, and really I shouldn't be so distracted by something like that - but I am, and it's hurting your piece bad.
That is a pretty picture though. - Report As Spam
