Don't Cry

Misery.
For a 3 syllable word
it can cause so much pain and woe.
Misery.
It lurks in the shadows
or around the corner.
You’ll never know.
Misery.
People have it everyday of their lives.
They cry, they weep,
they moan,
they crash down like thunder,
because of this 3 syllable word.
I want to understand you
and help you.
This is my true feeling.
Don’t cry or I’ll start too.
Tell me what’s wrong
and it’ll make all the difference.
So when you are feeling down
and gloomy
because of this 3 syllable word,
remember me
and it’ll make all the difference.

This would pretty good if you start using line breaks to emphasize the misery of each stanza. (If that's just your style however then ignore what I just said.)
