With Seconds ticking away,
Tears trailing down pale skin,
All one knows, this is only the begin.
The Sadness, slumbering in ones heart.
It's helping tear life apart.
And all purpose vanishes.
Whispers with deadly intent,
Flitting into ones wounded mind,
There is nothing left to defend.
Let it be, and come to me.
Allow me to be your guide,
Into this endless fight.

Description:
Time always ticks away, like sand slipping through fingers. Don't hold on to it, it will only make it go faster. This poem can be taken many ways.
It could be seen between lovers, or about the travel of Death as he guides another soul and even it can be seen as someone saving another from it's own mind.
You decide for yourself, what it means to you. - Date: 09/11/2008

- I really like this one, time, a beautiful thing. I see it as death riddled with numbers, it will all barrel down in the end.
