• Every day they are on the wall,
In the bathroom and in the hall.
I walk by them all the time,
A mirror is the greatest mime.
I see my face on the glass,
If I bother looking when I pass.
The mirror plays a dirty game,
They do not know how bad they maim.
It shows my hair, nose and cheeks,
My thousand flaws are what it seeks.
People tell me I am cute, sometimes pretty,
But the mirror looks at me and says, “oh what a pity.”
All the time this goes on,
Morning, noon, night, from dusk until dawn.
Well, “no more!” I say to the mirror,
It is time for you to show me clearer.
Show the real me, and show me now,
I know I am not an ugly cow!
I am pretty! I am cute!
I look good in that pink swimsuit!
No longer do I see my flaws in the mirror,
I have confidence in an image that is clearer.
Every day they are on the wall,
In the bathroom and in the hall.
I walk by them all the time,
A mirror is the greatest mime.
I see my face on the glass,
    Every time that I pass.
