I remember saying those words.
I remember breaking that promise.
"I'm sorry."
I remember that being said by me.
I remember not meaning it.
"I'm just scared, for you, for me... For us."
I remember silently whispering that.
And meaning something totally different.
"I love you."
I remember saying that.
I remember regretting it.
"I will always be there for you."
I remember whispering that.
I remember the one time I failed.
"I wanna be your everything."
I remember wanting that.
I remember hating it.
"I would do anything for you."
I remember really meaning that.
I remember you not wanting me to.
"I'm just not in the right place for a relationship right now."
I remember telling that with a sad face.
I remember smiling and laughing with friends later.
"I hate you."
I remember thinking that.
Every time you said...
"I love you."
You don't even believe that yourself.
So stop trying to get me to believe it.
