I saw you standing on the edge
About to break
Up high on a roof's ledge
The earth will shake
Tick, Tock goes the clock
Counting the minutes, seconds before you are gone
Your heart is locked
It doesn't belong
I cry out but only a whisper escapes
Double edged knifes cuts the strings that held us together
You fall over the cascading waters
All the love you gathered
Washed away with you
Tick, Tock goes the clock
I love you can't you see?
But I was just a empty street on a city block
I would do anything for you, and be what you you needed me to be.
I broke that clock
Now I'm free
We walked down that city block

- Title: Breaking Clocks
- Artist: Elasha Maiden
- Description: A poem I made with my two characters who have many relationship issues but don't have a name in the universe. It was a free write and no I'm not emo, I was just having some emotional problems at the time. The two characters represent two different sides of me, one good and the other hate
