• Her Arizona Is but A Leap Away, Mine Are Several

"She is within reach of her Arizona- her place of happiness- it is right there,

    But mine,

Mine is but behind a wall with a single window,

She can almost touch her Arizona, but I must stare at mine through the glass,

She only has to go through college, but I must go through High School,

When college for her is done, I will just be starting,

So for us to be, I believe now may be impossible,

    Why, you ask?

Because I want her to have her Arizona, therefore,

    I must say good-bye,

Although I do not want to, I must,

For the sake of happiness and cheer, I must let her go after her Arizona,

While I stay back and watch through the glass,

I love her dear and would gladly walk through fire to make her stay,

But what kind of guy am I to hold her down?

I am not that guy, I am me: I am the guy who wants to see her smile,

I am the guy who wants to see no tears in her eyes,

    I am the guy,

Who must love her in my heart and soul only,

I know one day we will meet again, but until then,

I must let her meet her Arizona and let Arizona hold her hand."
