A simple wish for Christmas Day

If a Broken Vase takes too long to fix
A Broken Heart is double the longer
I said I would never fall for your stupid tricks
But why am I so lonely this December

A day with you is still wished after all is done
Because even if it’s broken, it keeps on loving
I’m sad since I know you’ve had your fun
I never thought that loving could be so tiring

Each day this Christmas, I wish for you
Of all the other more sensible options to pick among
Hoping that one day your love would actually be true
Thinking that my choice towards you wasn’t wrong

I wait patiently through the cold days and nights
Trying to kept my faith that you’d come
I know you had ended our love in shouts and fights
Still wishing a monster to you I haven’t become

Please grant me this wish for Christmas
Just to see you smile and greet me with joy
Even if our us still remain as a was
So that the Christmas I can finally enjoy
