Drowning

I’m drowning.
This heartache is too much to bear,
Suffocation.
I can’t escape this suffering,
This pain.
It shatters the illusion,
My mask.
My heart is left bear,
Darkness.
There is no end to this,
Except one.
One slice of a blade then,
Calm.
My senses are numbed,
Deep sleep.
I’m finally at rest,
Forever peace.
