• The sky was dark red like the blood in our veins
    But I could do nothing for I was in chains
    The world was in chaos; its time was thin
    But I could do nothing but watch the others win
    They thought it funny to leave me alone
    And here I lay now, inside of this stone
    All I can do now is watch the earth burn
    And be pushed away from all that I yearn
    I came from the heavens; I came from the sky
    I never asked for the reason why
    But then I knew why, to save the world
    And then I couldn’t after all this unfurled
    I was an angel sent from above
    To stop the death of the world and to bring it love
    But I was dragged into darkness by the shadows of Hell
    And from there the earth’s condition fell
    My absence brought suffering and caused much pain
    I can’t believe that it had all been in vain
    My wings are unmoving and my heart is cold
    I just wanted it over, for it to unfold
    But the torturing continued, the sadness still clear
    And all the world’s happiness slowly turned to fear
    The darkness consumed and left no one alive
    And only few could last and survive
    I wanted to help, to be free of my jail
    But no matter my strength, I would always fail
    Only few people were left and life was almost done
    Soon, I knew there would be none
    Bodies were scattered all over the ground
    And there was no noise, not even a sound
    I thought it was over, but there was something more
    I felt the stone break, right down to its core
    I was freed to help those in need
    I knew I could help the world succeed
    It would take time and it would take work
    But I would destroy all the shadows that lurked
    I was a fallen angel, sent to save humankind
    To leave all the darkness and pain behind
    I banish the shadows and send them away
    I will save this world from decay
