I have a secret corner
In a darkened little box
And in that secret corner
Is a piano and a clock
The clock is rather backwards
For the hands are all reversed
And all the numbers, one through twelve,
Are unevenly dispersed
Beneath the clock a piano rests
Prepared to steal my soul
For when the keys begin to sing
I am captured by the pull
My fingers ceaselessly dance
Across the ivory row
And I release my secret life
Through my wicked song of woe
My clock is forever ticking
Like the notes within the noise
Counting away every union
That my piano song destroys
For my piano is an evil toy
That I never should have found
As I lose another piece of me
With each quiet little sound

- I loved the imagery behind his poem. I think it was a very original piece, worthy of good recognition. 5/5.
