We live in torment, remaining in shadows
Away from the relevance of light
What lurks out there,
Who here knows?

Suffering from the sweet oblivion
Saved from torment
The radiant full moon
Are you the one?

You hold our pain
Yet you hide, in celestial radiance
And bring Us torrents
Of saddening rain

Rain as our tears
In our world is drought
Yet the children of the light
Live happily and without doubt

Born to die we await our fate
Yet, we bask in the immortality of our soul
To the heavens we cry out
There is so much doubt
