There is only so far I can follow this path.
It leads to a dead end.

I can only stand there for so long, wishing a clear way.
Not all wishes come true.

There are many questions and no solutions in my head.
It is destroying me from within.

I turn away and take a different path

I like how the second line of each pair of sentences seems so dark and jagged compared to the rest of that pair. I also like the concluding line. Short and sweet, as you said. Well done. Keep up the writing!
