• Let me tell you a story I heard
A tale that is oh so absurd
    About a girl named Nicole
    Died at fifteen years old
The strangest thing I've ever heard.

This isn't 'bout how she never ate peas
But about how she was deadly allergic to fleas.
    Sit sits there all day
    Wishing they'd go away
But they bite her and they eat her as they please

"Stop the itching!" she would beg
As the critters crawled up her legs
    All out of itch cream
    So horrible, it'd seem
She had over ten bites on one leg.

So many times she tried to fight back
Using flea poison, she would attack
    Some how, they'd survive
Seems that they can not die
Either that, or they'd always come back

One day, her mother left her alone
Saying she'd come back with flea bombs for the home
    Nicole said okay
    Mother went on her way
    Her fate was really unknown

Around five was when her mother came back
She nearly had a heart attack
    She was not believing
    Her daughter was not breathing
For a moment, her world had gone black.

Nobody knows for sure the fate of Nicole
Laying there, her pale skin so cold
    Covered in flea bites
    The bumps made of white
That must of been the reason, I'm told.

No one knows what really happened to her
But some say that fleas attacked her
    They bit, and she fought
    But the battle was lost
    Eventually, they killed her.

I'm not sure if it's true
But I'm sure, if I were you
    Call the exterminator
    Better sooner than later
'Cause the next victim could be you
