• Dark clouds encompass the sky,
    Casting its shadow over my,
Heart, all alone, alone as it is.
Its not its fault, it cant move.
A casket lock it into place,
Negating any chance of planning to to escape.
Roses decorate my dear hearts grave saying,
"To the girl that stole my world, and introduced me to a new one,
I love you, i still love you. i will always love you."
But no one cares, not even the flowers,
A gust of wind blows all but one off my hearts grave.
Can i not make anything stay?

    Thunder cracks through the silence,
    Lightning cuts through the violent,
Dark sky, emitting the only source of light,
Guiding a tired, lost young man to this sight.
    More flowers are spread across,
More flowers to just be tossed.
Lightning jumps from cloud to cloud,
Trying to find a new home, a new host.
If only my heart could find that place.
Once more a gust of wind rolls across the flowers,
    Blowing them away,
Only to be found later, at the end of the day.

The clouds remain in the sky,
Like they were glued in place to keep the sun at bay,
Not wanting to go through their day.
What can my heart do but sit and wait?
what can my heart do but hope
For someone to break the chains, holding it down,
    to care about me, and hold me close;
    To give me a home.
Thunder cracks yet again, waking my poor heart,
To the fact that it is buried underground.
The lone and desolate rose is now blown away,
To the sound of thunder and the glow of lightning.
