• Life is a hard game to play, and nobody wins. But our lives will turn out how we perceive the world and life in general. For those of us who remain positive, you'll find you have a much better life. But if you constantly see nothing but negativity in the world, you'll find your own life looks to be that way too. Not everything in this world is bad. Yes, there are bad things.. but there is some good left as well. You'll only see it if you choose too..
Your life turns out how you want it to. If things look bad, only you have that power to make a change and better things. Is giving up really the answer? In life, there are two types of people. The quitters, and the fighters. Giving up is a way of telling people you can't do something. Then they sit back saying "I knew you couldn't do it." Fighters aim to prove the world wrong and everyone who currently doubts they can do things in life.
You don't know how many people I've heard say they want to commit suicide. It proves to me that those people are the quitters.
Suicide is a selfish thing anyways. The person who kills himself thinks, "Oh, I'm going to be dead soon anyways. All of life's problems will soon be over." Yes, maybe for that person. But do they ever stop to think what it's going to do to the people who love and care about him? I guess not. Suicide changes the lives of everyone that were close to that person. It may be the end of their life, but it's a new beginning for those around that person. It will make their lives miserable. Everyone takes death differently. But if someone you were close to, it makes your life impossible to live and makes you want to die as well. But no, the person committing suicide never stops to think about what will happen after they're gone, because they just don't care, do they? Well wake up! If you care about anybody, you'd take things into consideration before you do something you cannot reverse.
Why do people commit suicide? What happened to make these people feel that there was no way out other than death?
My advice to people like that is to, instead of thinking about all the reasons you should die, think about all the reasons you should live. Get a piece of paper and write down every reason to live, and everything that makes you happy. Whether it be a person, a memory, or hell, even a video game. I think you'll see there's more to live for than you had once thought.
So, if you want to be something in life, be a fighter. Not a quitter. Quitters never win, and fighters never lose. Even if the people who fight don't get exactly what they want, they never completely lose, because they tried.
As I said before, life is a game nobody completely wins, since we all die. But, as long as you're happy in life, then you can say that you have won.
Just remember, no matter how bad things get or seem, never give up, and keep on fighting..
