• The clouds floated by like glaciers
Lonely and pale, haunting the blue dawn
Sailing across the frozen morning sky
Kissed by a dieing touch of orange
    Strained on the breeze
These are the solemn moments I like best

It seemed like someone covered my eyes
Without saying “Guess who” I was surprised
Autumn came and took my breath away
While summer just ran away one night

I smile in spite of being abandoned
It’s a strange kind of happiness that fills my heart
Drifting through the many dazzling memories
That just keep slipping through my tiny fingers

I remember you fondly, you whom I spent so many years
Under the red and yellow trees
Riding off to no place just for fun
Until that day this worlds poisons stifled that pleasant glow

Even so, this is the season I love most
My October full of tragic dreams
A tearful farewell shining brightly with gold
Whispers from the past drying my tears
Even as the days go by in a colorful blaze
As long as I can breathe that autumn air
You’ll never be far from my heart
