• She was born, right in front of my eyes
    And her toothless smile, her laugh, lit the skies

    My mom smiles at me

    The little angel, right there in pink
    Sleeping so soundly, I could watch her forever, I think

    Cheeks so full, eyes so blue
    I wanted to be a great part of her life, I knew

    Now, two and a half years later
    She runs, she screams, she drives me crazy, sometimes I truly hate her

    But at the end of the day, looking at her sleep
    It reminds me of that day, when she didn't make a peep

    She is still that little angel, deep inside
    And someday soon, her evil toddler side will hide

    My little sister, sleeps so sweetly
    I no I will always love her, completely

    And I lay next to her, watching her sweet face
    Thinking of the future, when she will be more beautiful and filled with grace

    I have, and shall, protect her forever more
    For it is this little angel, sleeping in my arms, I will always adore
