• Creature of the Night

    Creature of the night,
    Pawing playfully at my door.
Take me to thy blissful eve,
Guide me to thy golden shore.

Lead me through to hearts content,
Pull me in thyne silver gate.
I wish to know the secrets have,
I, the one, your dreamer mate.

Present to me your cunning form,
So that I may better see.
In your pelt of crimson flash,
To a world of dreams we flee.

Do you know oh creature dear,
Why dost take me in your realm?
For I, the one, and only human,
And you, present, your ghostly helm.

To sail upon an ocean mist,
Atop a boat born 'ore ones mind.
    Feeling spray across the break,
    Leaving thee, to look behind.

I return to my worlds morn,
    Wishing to see thee again.
    Lifting me on eagles wings,
    Knowing thee, thy foxes friend.
