• Why do we hate our neighbors?
Why must we choose a side?
Why do we fight and have to be right?
    Why can’t we happily abide?

    We constantly kill our brothers-
People who could be our friends
We’re thoughtless as stones when rage fills our bones
And on no one we’ve come to depend

    War is a terrible tragedy,
The answer to nothing of worth
We’ve learned this, but still we continue to kill
    Mindlessly destroying our Earth

    Just stop this terrible beast
And learn to love others today
Repair everyone’s lives before the entire world dives
    Into a terrible, irreversible fray
