• If you had the choice,
Would you trade your life for an empty shell?
    Being alone and empty.
The boy has been in that shell for a very long time.
But yet, the shell gets bigger and bigger.

For a long time, that boy has been in that shell,
Watching others take the glory no matter how hard he worked for it.
He has always tried to get out,
But others kept pushing him back in.
Every time he would sneak out of the shell,
The world treats him as an outcast.
So he would always hide behind a fake smile
And pretend that his life was great and amazing.
But yet, the shell gets bigger and bigger.

The boy never cared for himself,
    But always cared for others.
Every time he ever done anything for himself,
People would always call him selfish or an idiot.
Because of this, the boy always hid in the shadows.
But yet, the shell gets bigger and bigger.

The world could never understand the boy,
For every time he spoke his words,
It would always be to himself.
The boy never really had much of someone to actually talk to.
Due to the fact that the people who actually take concern,
    Leave to never return.
No matter how hard he tried,
No matter how hard he worked for it.
He never had a reason to keep trying, after dozens of times.
The boy works harder than you think,
Not for himself, but for others.
Always carrying other people’s burdens instead of his.
For he always thinks to help others instead of himself.
But as time passes, those he helps, fades.
But the shell keeps getting bigger and bigger.

For the boy who is in the empty shell tried ways to get out.
    Punch, kick, bite, and scream.
No one seems to care, nor listen.
So in the first part of his life, he stops caring for himself.
Knowing that he took the path of the loner.
He still always thinks of helping others, more than himself.
    Regardless if he can’t escape.
    He has tried it all,
Sports, lies, truth, a new life, and even technology.
But no matter how hard he tried.
The shell kept getting bigger, and bigger.
With the boy, never caring for who he was,
    Nor what he looked like.
