Feature Update
My new feature is now in testing. Hopefully it's not too broken (we all remember what Daily Chance did for the site...) and we'll be able to release it very, very soon!
Since we're pretty close, I'll release a few hints:
* NO, IT WASN'T JIGSAW!. I am not a Flash developer. I don't make those kinds of games... yet.
* It's not in Lanzer's sig
* It's not event-related

ALIUMS!
The UFO's have stepped up their activity and Ron Bruise made an appearance in Towns! Many Gaians are saying that this is the most interactive, NPC-heavy event yet.
If you haven't had a chance to see an alien yet, hang around the fountain in 5 Barton 001000, or in 5 Barton 001919 blaugh There's a good chance you'll run into one.
Here are some highlights from the UFO's appearances so far:
* 09 is apparently in love with Yuzi_K. He has been shunned by several of the other aliens because 09 is sympathetic to Gaians. He has disappeared.
* 05 finds Gaians very delicious. He seems to be interested in their flavors
* 06 and 11 are apparently evil as well
* Several admins have been abducted! If you check their profiles, you will see that they are missing!
Lots of users have warned me that I might be abducted -- but thanks to my huge amount of hair, I am impervious to alien beams.
This is going to be my first event, but it looks like it's going to be one of the best for Gaia. Huzzah!
Jigsaw
Okay. How can I put this. Let me illustrate this in a way that will garner no confusion:
I am an addict. I think this is the best game Gaia has yet. Thanks go to a ton of people here, but mostly to Pizmonaut, who was the main guy behind the game (including coming up with the idea!)
I can't stress enough:
JIGSAW IS NOT MY PROJECT
... but I *wish* it were. gonk
Profile Comments: Abducted?!
You may have noticed, if you had a lot of comments, that a lot of your comments went missing recently.
We had to prune down some profile comments to 500 per-user because the sheer number of them was breaking the site for some weird reason. So we pruned some old comments (sorry ) and now everything's stable again. Hopefully we'll have a more graceful solution going forward.
Snacktopia Will Kill Us All
I'm starting to think Snacktopia was the idea of one of our competitors, created to make Gaia's staff so fat they die of heart attacks. Here are some things in Snacktopia at this very minute:

* RED VINES (Mr. Pibb not included)
