NIGHT
A blanket consumes the light,
overpowering it with its dark command.
On it lights flicker on and off,
diamonds scattered here and there
appear as holes in the black abyss.
Creatures come out to play in this darkness,
this vaporizing shelter,
this overpowering fortress.
Sets of rubies, round, menacing, and unobtrusive,
blinking through the expanse glare at passersby,
who never take notice of their fellow spies.
The nefarious air is arctic and yet sultry;
it tastes of flesh waiting to be devoured.
Breathing can be heard, close to the ear,
While screeching and clawing sound from afar.
And then the night is hushed, silent, calm,
and it beckons curious onlookers to join
and become one of its obscure shadows.
It brutally takes over the mind,
seducing it casually and then overtaking it viciously.
Calling and summoning,
its followers come.
Slowly, it brings more and more,
until all shall become one with the night.

My journal
A collection of stuff of mine... anything I feel like writing about, but mostly poems, my drawings, and part of my story.

Like what you like. Cause I mean, if you don't like what you like then you're not really liking. So if you like Barry Manilow that's great. But if you like smack metal puppets or air supply then hell, the power's all yours. As long as you own it, got me?
