FIGHTING THE DEMON
Whispering lies in my ears,
it breathes over my shoulder.
Constantly there,
eyes never ceasing to glare like fire
burning through my soul.
It leads me on wild rampages,
my spirit a beast
that cannot be tamed.
It never leaves my side,
and is there in all I do;
Leading me astray,
taking me down paths of which
I long to traverse
but dare not embark upon,
for I know the dangers there.
I know what lies in wake in the darkness--
more demons such as my own,
waiting to pounce upon my soul,
and place heavy chains of wrath about it,
concealing it
so it is nothing more than a black hole;
Nothing more than a shallow, dark, abyss,
full of empty time and nothingness.
For I was withered by time,
my soul lost to the shadows that surround me.
And now I lie in wait,
waiting for someone to set me free,
so that I may step into the light,
and be a captive no more.

My journal
A collection of stuff of mine... anything I feel like writing about, but mostly poems, my drawings, and part of my story.

Like what you like. Cause I mean, if you don't like what you like then you're not really liking. So if you like Barry Manilow that's great. But if you like smack metal puppets or air supply then hell, the power's all yours. As long as you own it, got me?
