I stare at Yukito, dumbstruck. "What the hell are you saying???!!!! To accuse a council member of treason??!!!! Yukito, you've lost your mind.... I am going to forget you ever said that."
Yukito shook his head quickly and crawled over and sat next to me. "No, Kasumi. I'm positive. Look.... I can't tell you what exactly, but i told something to the counsil. Something that could endanger our people's lives. They would never tell anyone something this secret, i know. But somehow, someone else found out and they could cause the downfall of all Earth." Yukito says, looking at me with the most intense gaze i've ever seen on his face. He looks absolutely serious. I have never seen him like this, not even when he was talking about this human girl he's got the hots for. He actually believes there is a traitor on the counsil. That's impossible.... isn't it? The Elders are chosen because they are the oldest ,wisest, most trustworthy elves. The thought of one of them turning on our people....... it's just inconceivable.
"Yukito.... I just can't think.... That's impossible...."
"No it isn't. I swear to God, I know it sounds insane, but you have to believe me." I shake my head at him, disbelieving. He looks at me with utter dispare. "Kasumi.... I thought that if anyone would believe me, you would...." He moves back away from me, staring at me through his broken glasses.
No, No, NO!! I can't stand the way he's looking at me. It feels like it my soul is being ripped. I can't hurt my friend like this. "Yukito... I-"
Right at that moment, a lock clicks and the door swings open, filling the room with blinding light and outlining a dark figure.
