After the group got into the craft, Yori started his work. He was one of the best hackers in their class at the academy. He had able to gain access any computer. The group waited for the engines to start. As soon as they did, Yuki took over. Yuri was able to gain access but he had a hard time when it came to breaking code and running programs. Yuki was able to use the systems code and get the craft into the air. They could hear the soldiers outside trying to figure out what was happening and why the craft was starting. When the craft got into the air, the soldiers called to their friends in the air. The fighters came and called the craft. Yuki was able to send a text response telling them that the screen was inoperative and that the craft was needed at the battle line. This bought them a little time as the craft headed towards the fort.
The fighters headed off towards the battle. After a while they noticed that the craft was not following them towards the battle. Yuki sent another message stating engine problems; however, the fighters thought differently. They started to attack. Yuki was able to doge some of the attacks but the craft took heavy damage. They landed several miles from the fort, but there was little hope in getting the craft back into the air. Yori had a message sent to the fort informing them of the situation. The group then carefully left the craft and stayed close to the brush. The fighters continued to attack. They were able to avoid the blasts from the fighters and get closer to the fort.
As they got closer to the fort, more fighters appeared and a dog fight started. The group continued towards the fort.
