This morning must be the most interesting I have had in a long time. I worked really late last night... All the way to 2:00 am! I, sadly, was only half-way done when I decided to hit the sack! I had told my mom about this, and she had taken me by surprise by hugging me and stating that she's proud of me! eek I almost thought that I was in a dream! Ever since I told my parents that I was moving to states up north to be with Sky, Mom and Dad had always looked at me with shame and disappointment. I never ONCE expected THIS! I had to pinch myself SEVERAL TIMES to make sure that I was awake! eek It frightened me that just out of the blue, when I'm their "child that does not think", my mother embraced me and told me that I made her proud. I had not heard her say that for a while... The only times that I DID hear those words were at the Band competitions and concerts, when I was 1st chair and section leader. Ever since graduation, I never expected those 4 words to come out of her mouth again. What a morning that this has become!
