Here's an ongoing story which'll go for a few chapters.. Enjoy!
Alone
Chapter 1

Here I am again, alone. Afraid to move, afraid to live. I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. Nothing is right and I don't think anybody cares. But, I hear the voices coming. I turn and run. Even if I must move, I'm afraid that they might catch me.

It all started when I moved to this town and started school. I tried to make friends, but everyone just pushed me away. It definiately didn't help when the most popular girl at our school, Diane, started to hate and torment me when her ex-boyfriend, Jason, talked to me. She said that anyone that she went out with wasn't supposed to go with anyone else untill they changed schools. I knew that was selfishly stupid.

Soon after, my mother divorced my father and ran off with some man. My father then developed a drinking problem and my home became a living hell. I had no friends, and no family to turn to and trust.

If things weren't bad enough, Diane and her friends beat me up, daily. All I can do was run, which is what I'm doing right now.

I turn into an ally, only to hear one of them scream that they spotted me. I run with as much speed as I can muster. My legs are growing tired and are hard to move, but if I slow down, doom will surely come.

My eyes look at my surroundings only to find a dead end. It's over now.

They catch up. One of them holds my arms back and another holds my feet down while Diane punches me in my stomache. I attempt to break free, but it's useless. Pain washes over me as blood can be seen dripping onto the ground.

"That'll show you to mess with me."

"But I didn't do anything!" I scream, hatered welling up inside of me.

"Yes you did! You're the reason Jason broke up with me!"

"How's it my fault!"

"Me and Jason where such a happy couple untill you came along. He broke up with me and started talking with you instead!" Diane spat, her fist hitting my stomache again.

"But that was his choice. I had nothing to do with it!"

"Nothing to do with it? As if. You moved here and took my boyfriend away!"

"Shut up! You don't know anything! I moved here because I had to, and had no choice in the matter! If it was up to me, I wouldn't be here."

"Then why don't you leave! You don't belong here! You should just go die somewhere! It's not as if anyone would care!"

The hatred inside me at this point was just like steam in a kettle. It had to burst out. But I was weak and helpless. There was nothing there to save me. Nothing there to stop the punches, the blood, and the pain. The pain which had become greater.

I had to stop this. I dug my nails into the person holding my hands, causing them to weaken their grip which allowed me to brake free. My feet kicked the person off, and I punched Diane with all my might.

Diane fell to her knees, blood pouring from her mouth.

"It was never my fault." I said as I turned and walked away, leaving them behind.

As I walked, I felt this new feeling within me. I knew from then on that I wouldn't allow anyone to harm me.
