My head slowly swims into consciousness out of the black sea. I can't open my eyes, they're so heavy. Faintly, I hear voices in the background, but my head is so mussled, I can't make out what they are saying. I sigh. I don't really care anyway.

A cool hand touches my forehead. "....Kasumi...." a muffled voice calls. It's one i recognise. But who? I relax, putting all my energies into listening.

"I think she's still asleep." The same voice says. It's Hisoka. His voice is filled with worry and anger.

"Good. She needs her rest." Another voice says. This voice is relaxed and calm. It's Master Aki!!! What's he doing here??!!! "She's lost alot of blood. Rest and relaxation is the best thing for her now."

"Yukito, I swear, I will kill you if she doesn't wake up." Hisoka snaps.

"I said I was sorry, Ok? I didn't mean for this to happen. This is what I was trying to prevent." Yukito's voice is filled with regret and sadness.

"Well, you did a poor job of it." Hisoka snaps at him.

"Stop it, Hisoka." Master Aki commands. "Yukito was doing the best he could, given the circumstances. If Yukito hadn't been there, Kasumi would be dead, now. So I think you owe him thanks and an apology."

"I'll not thank him for this!!!!" Two shaking fingers brush against a badage on my neck. I moan as the slight pressure sends stabbing pains throughout my body. The atmosphere around me stiffens. Slowly, I open my eyes.
