That Morning........
Im dreaming......My Oka-san is in front of me. She smiles at me as I join her and my Onii-sama and Oto-san outside. Then just as they begin to smile at me....it happens again.....the black dragon kills my mother. She stares at me with blood red eyes all I can do is watch as it happens again....her blood covers me again....Then the dragon reaches forme and hisses in my ear.....
"Don't worry young neko, you will join her and your father very soon......Ahahahahahaha!" he chuckles as he pushes me into a ocean of blood.
All I could do......was scream.........
"Dahlin'? You awake?" I hear a voice call to me. I open my eyes to Kitsune-sama, who is dressed in black ninja garb. "Get up."
She kneels down at the table with me. I am uprepared for what comes from her lips.
"Ambaru, I was a friend of your Oka-san's. She asked me to train you in the event of her death." Kitsune-sama stated.
"You knew my.........*sniff*.....Oka-san....she...." I tried to understand the situation. "She knew she was going to die?"
"That I don't know dahlin'. She only told me to train you." Kitsune-sama said sadly, "I will be your Sensei and teach you all I know, but you must be willing to learn dahlin'."
I swallow my tears and answer her "Yes, Kitsune-sensei. I will be a deadly, powerful, and swift konoichi for my Oka-san!" I proclaimed.
I see a grin crease Kitsune-sama's face, "Good answer, dahlin'......Lets Begin!"
11 years later.........
"Ambaru, your form is still off! You knees are too low, dahlin'!"
Kitsune-sama's voice squeeks as I trip from her attack.
"Owww........" I answer back as I rub my legs.
Its been twelve years since I began my training. Kitsune-sama hasn't aged a bit, but her voice has. Hehehehe. Me? I've changed since then. My hair is longer now and as black as ebony. My form, heehee its changed too. Kitsune-sama says I look like my Oka-san. Shes says Im looking more andmore like a master konoichi everyday.
"Dahlin' stop day dreamin'." Kitsune-sama snaps, "Your training isn't done yet."
"Hi-i, Oba-chan." I said as I walk towards her.
"I've decided that your good enough to learn this teknique." She smiles, "Its a bit difficuly though, so pay attention dahlin'."
I nod as she has get in my stance.
"Assume the stance of the violent serpent, Now!" she then orders me. I do it immediatly and correctly. I place my legs over each other and placemy hands as if they were the heads of a snake.
"Excellent dahlin'." Kitsune-sama coughs and then she grabs a wooden katana. "Alright Ambaru, attack me with everything you've got!"
I do a main attack which is called viper's poison (a jab to the throat) and Kitsune-sama dodged it and hit me in the arm legs and chest. I couldn't move!
"See dahlin'. I've blocked the nerve signals throughout your body. Now you are vunerable to attack." she explained.
"O.k. now un-block my nerve signals!" I whined, "I think Im gonna pass out......"
"Alright dahlin'........" She said as she quickly unblocked my nerves. I then breathe a sigh. "Now I want you to try it."
"Alright." I said as I assumed the stance the teknique requires. As I go to attack, Kitsune-sama coughs again and this time I see blood in her hand. "KITSUNE-SAMA!"
"Hehehe,....I'm alright dahlin'." She snickered, "Its just a little cold as all. Keep training. I need to rest....."
"Yes, Oba-chan..." Ireplied sadly as she sat down in the shack. I continued to train as she slept that afternoon.
Later that day I walked into the shack after hours of training to find Kitsune-sama in great pain. "Oba-chan."
She stared at me unable to speak. She then gotcloser tome as if she wanted toknow what I was going to say.
"Kitsune-sama....I'm gla you found me when you did back then. I don't think I'd be alive right now if it weren't for you. You even treated me like your real grandchild. YYou trained me to be a great konoichi. Oba-chan...I'm worried about your health. You've been coughing up blood lately so I want to help you get better in anyway I can. I don't want to leave you like this when I go on my quest for Mochidizuki. I love you like you were my real Oba-san. I don't want you to die..." I began to cry, "You're all the family I have left."
Kitsune-sama then gets up and opens a crate and hands me a large weapon wrapped in cloth. "It belonged to your Oka-san...." she muttered, "Use it well dahlin'."
I grab the weapon fromher hands and unwrap it. "It my ka-san's Sapphire Dragon Naginata.....but how did you---?"
"That doesn't matter now." Kitsune-sama argued, "Go now and summon Mochidizuki Inu Tensu, the Wolf guardian to your aid. He will guide you. He can be found at Mt. Fuji. And don'you worry about me dahlin'....I'll be here when you get back." she smiled.
"Arigato, Oba-chan.....I promise I'll return in time." I bid her farewell as I suit up and leave for Mt. Fuji.
All I can dois hope.....and pray.....Oka-san, Oto-san, Onii-sama.......Guide me.
