short stories
I plan to think of ideas for writing/typing a story. My stories will include fiction and if I work hard enough, I may write an entire story.
chapter 10 Plan B
They both bolted for the weapon rack, grabbed their weapons, and turned to face their enemy. But what they saw was not one enemy, but one hundred enemies.
"Do you have a plan B? If so now’s the time to make it happen." Methodios asked.
"I'm working on it." Atreus said as he looked around for something to help them defeat these enemies, but he couldn't see anything that didn't include charging through one hundred marauding monsters, that is until he looked at the weapon rack. "Climb the rack." He ordered as he began to climb.

Methodios didn't argue, he just followed Atreus up and onto the roof of what was probably an armory. As he looked back he saw all the goblin-like creatures charging the rack, and some were already climbing up. "Kick it!" Atreus shouted.
"All right, no need to shout I'm right here." He said as he gave the rack a firm kick and sent it toppling on several unlucky orcs.
"Follow me." Atreus commanded as he started to jump to a nearby roof. As Methodios followed he saw several ladders being put against the roof of several buildings. He gave one a kick and continued running. When he caught up to Atreus they were at the end of the line, there was nothing else to jump to.

They slowly turned and saw that there were about 30 orcs behind them and closing in. "I just got another idea." Atreus said as he took out an arrow and prepared to shoot the oncoming orcs. There were about 10 orcs on the building in front of them and they were charging at full speed, some even fell off and were knocked into next week. Idiots. Methodios thought. Then, Atreus fired the arrow, but not at the oncoming orcs, but at the rope holding the structures roof up. He hit his mark and the front side of the roof collapsed as a cloud of orcs fell down, and a cloud of dust rose up. "Jump!" Atreus shouted as he leaped off the building.

Methodios was right after him, and they bolted into the woods. When they were far enough away, they stopped to rest, "that was crazy." Methodios said, gasping for air. They had been running at top speed for about a minute, desperate to get as far away as they could.
"Yea," Atreus agreed, "it runs in the family." They could still hear the chaos from where they sat. "That should keep them busy for a while." Atreus said.
Methodios looked around, even though he wasn't expecting anything but trees because they were in a forest.
"Where are we?" Methodios asked.
Atreus also looked around, then looked back to him and said, "Argyros forest, it is one of the many forests that surround the village we were in before we left."
"I see," Methodios responded, "we should get some rest, if there’s one thing I learned, it's rest while you can because you don't know when you'll get that chance again." Atreus nodded in agreement and they both fell asleep on the hard floor of Argyros forest.
