JUDGING THE BOOK BY IT'S COVER HAS NEVER BEEN SO EASY. _____________________xoxo.
Name xx.
Sawada Kazuhito; his alias has become Yumemori Kazuma. Everyone simply knows him as Kazu. Age xx.
Aged a perfect twenty-five years. Preference xx.
He likes whomever he likes; pansexual. Status xx.
The unofficial leader of the gang and former member of the Kaijuu forces. Appearance xx. [ a ;; b ;; c ;; d ]
_____Though Kazu has a particularly feminine look to him, mostly due to his long hair and substantially soft features, his height of six-foot-two and finely toned body structure beg to differ. Though lean and rather frail looking to the unknowing and unfortunate, this seems to be quite the opposite and you'll know once you've been on the wrong side of a perfectly aimed roundhouse kick. He is all muscle and knows how to deliver the optimal amount of force in a hit without much effort. He specializes in pressure points to take down his opponent quickly. If anyone should have been born a Nekojin, it should have been this man. Graceful and elegant even in his most primitive of movements, and even while engaged in combat, he draws the eye of onlookers simply upon entering a room. Quite stealthy, his footsteps are silent due to habit; being utterly quiet is a good way to sneak up the unsuspecting as well. He is very quick, and with his honed reflexes, there isn't much that can catch him unawares.
_____Speaking facially, Kazu is quite a beautiful man -- too pretty in fact, too much so that it was his childhood subject of torment. He was often mistaken for a girl and was the target of several unsavory bullies. No one would have been surprised if he had sprouted a pair of breasts upon puberty. This is why; long locks resembling sunbeams stream down in a cascade to his lower-back, which at times becomes irritating enough for him to pull into a loose braid. Soft, kissable lips and smooth, milky complexion most real females would envy him for. Eyes the color of honey when content, can change into cold orbs of dangerous amber when provoked. Like a two-sided coin, the blonde's emotions that influence these subtle changes can turn on a dime. However, despite his bright, girlish looks, the real personality of this blonde-haired beauty is quite disturbing. When this portion of Kazu is uncovered, one can begin to see past the pretty-face and through to the stark darkness he keeps hidden under all those masks.
_____As for apparel, the blonde tends to stick closer to the darker end of the spectrum, with a white shirt or pants splashed in here and there. Most of his clothing tends to be black or darker hues of blue and grey. You might catch him wearing a royal purple every so often, but he finds black and white to be more practical, which is almost strange coming from such an art-oriented man who likes to be surrounded by vibrant colors. Shoes he dons are also black, usually being light-weight and easy to move in. Somewhat flashy, despite his apparent dislike of wearing bright colors, Kazu has always been partial to gold jewelry which he sometimes wears with an open collared shirt. He has no piercings, however; he does have tattoos that adorn his body. One is a very large piece that covers his entire back. Only several people have seen it in person, though if he ever takes off his coat while wearing a white shirt you might just be able to make out the dark lines of the tribal artwork. The other is a simply aum symbol that accents the back of his neck.
_____While those things are all well and good, his beautiful human-like form only accounts for half of him. Unleashing the beast within his appearance becomes twisted and tiger-like. Saw-shaped and blade-like fangs hang over his jaw, serpentine nasal slits accent his snout, and his eyes become elongated to form a continuous metallic glare. Fine, golden fur covers his mutated body and a long mane of blonde hangs shaggily from his double horned head. Long talon-like claws protrude from the gnarled paws. Heavy, leathery wings akin to a bat's span several yards from his shoulder blades, giving him flight. The torso of this form is finely muscled, carrying down in each direction towards his front and rear legs giving him the ability of a super-fast sprinter where his movements can be lightning quick. A long, whip-like tail protrudes from his hindquarters and resembles that of a lions. However, this particular tail is decorated with deadly spikes that can be used as a club for a stunning blow when you're not paying attention.

Personality xx.
_____Kazu is the cool, level-headed boss of the gang, despite Amimara’s claim of the title of “leader”. Unfortunately for her, he can outsmart even the genius of the gang, making her no contest – however; he’d rather control things from behind the scenes than listen to one of her tedious rants. “Better to loose the battle than loose the war,” so to speak, but this is not the sole reason to his madness. Not matter how annoying she can be, a certain guilt drives this man to deal with Arimara’s eccentric personality. This is due to past circumstances that she herself is not privy to. He’s also had the practice of dealing with other certain eccentric people, which makes ignoring her all the more painless. Being a very laid-back person in appearance, the reality is that the blonde is exceedingly manipulative and self-serving, contradicting his angelic visage. He appears to have a friendly temperament despite his underlying apathetic persona, though time and time again he’s shown his loyalty and determination and never fails to protect the members of his gang, whether they dislike him or not.
_____Rather partial to his masks, as they hide the darker side of his personality that rears its ugly head every once in a while, you might catch glimpses of what’s underneath during a fight. Merciless, cunning, and ruthless portray his combat techniques as a whole, though some have described them as “artistic”. He tries not to show this, though it’s quite difficult for him at times, especially after blood is split, because he is prone to developing a blood-lust during a fight. The viscous substance acts as a trigger to his almost split personality. It’s an eerie thing to watch, for as calm and genial as Kazu might be on the outside, it’s quite alarming to see his sadistic side, which is quite severe. Secretive, evasive, suspicious are all words that can accurately describe Kazu, and he’s got a good reason to be. He’s a very avid people watcher, making reading other’s a synch and with his photographic memory he can easily catch usually unnoticeable details about someone or something and remember them at the drop of a hat. Well-schooled in the tell-tale signs of a liar, there isn’t much that can get past him and he isn’t easy to outsmart.
_____Regardless of his warped personality, Kazu has always been a lover of the arts; poetry, literature, classical music, paintings, you name it. But since it’s a bit unpractical for him to own anything more than books due to the current state of affairs, his collection is majorily poetry, various plays and origami. He has, however, found an old piano that he’s retuned, and can sometimes be found playing pieces from memory, since he has no music sheets, and well, he simply doesn’t need them. Charming, in a way, though not necessarily by choice, Kazu knows how to get what he wants. In that regard, he can get to be a bit flirty when he wants, though using a low tone and bedroom eyes is the norm for him and is actually quite unintentional. His flirtatiousness seems to amplify when he’s sick or has a fever where he becomes quite suggestive and almost perverted. His almost lazy behavior in addition to his genius gives him a naturally superior attitude, bestowing upon him a lofty appearance he simply doesn’t realize he has; in other words, he’s good at reading others but can’t seem to decipher himself.
_____Mysterious to the others, as there isn’t much they know about him – and he intends to keep it that way as far as he’s concerned – he can make ominous or curious remarks that the others simply do not understand. Try as he may, even with years of practice he cannot completely mask the fear he holds for the discovery of his secret or how deeply it affects him – a secret that could potentially destroy the life he worked so hard to achieve… again. As far as they know, as a human, Kazu has shown an apparent dislike of the Kaijuu and strange, but special fondness towards the Nekojin, especially where the little half-breed twins are concerned. In essence, he almost acts as a “parent” towards the younger members of the gang, though allows them their freedom just the same, only stepping in to interfere when he believes the situation they are in has become out of control. However, he seems to like teasing the genius for personal enjoyment and simply likes getting a rise out of the boy.
History xx.
_____Let’s start from the beginning, shall we? At birth, Kazu was an orphan; he was found on the steps of a Shinto temple in Nara and was consequently raised by the monk who lived there. The monk there gave him the name Kazuhito Though he was poor, Kazu lived a peaceful life and though he made few friends because of his isolated environment, he was happy. However, as time went on, the old man became older and soon fell sick. Taking over the old man’s chores as he grew weaker day by day, Kazu cared for the old man until his death. He was only even years old at the time of the old man’s passing and since he was not only enough to be living on his own, he was placed into an orphanage until he became of age. To this day, Kazu still does not know who is parents are, nor does he have much interest in finding this information or their persons, though it was a childhood dream of his and was as fleeting as believing in the toothfairy.
_____Growing up in the orphanage was similar to being confined to a personal hell. Everyday he was mocked and jeered at by the boys for his girlish appearance and his morbid, peculiar behavior kept the girls from inviting him in their games of house, dress-up and dolls. Not that he really minded of course; he could have spent hours playing the old decrepit board games of shogi by himself, as creating imaginary friends to play against wasn’t anything new to him. Reading the few books they had stored in the small library soon became boring after reading all of them thrice and he would often find his artistic creations destroyed by the other orphans; in particular, three boys who seemed to have it in for him. It didn’t bother him much – he could always create his art just the same as it had been before, or better if he so desired, but soon, his artwork became a vent to frustration to him as the oppression of his peers continued.
_____It wasn’t until around his fourteenth birthday that a life altering, mind shattering event occurred, and to this day, Kazu still firmly believes that it was this solitary act of hatred that brought him to the edge. Cornered in the orphanage attic where he had been attempting to draw the landscape he could glimpse from the small, half-circle, grime covered window, he was subjected to pre-adolescent rape from the three boys who had targeted him. Outnumbered and overpowered, they covered his mouth and his screams as the others children and adults enjoyed themselves outside in the warm summer afternoon, completely unaware of what was occurring three stories above their heads. Sore and covered with bruises, Kazu had gone to sleep that night without a word to anyone, though he knew the other children whispered about what had happened that afternoon – after all, little boys do love to kiss and tell.
_____After that, this became a regular routine for the blonde boy, but as time crawled along, funny little ideas began weaving themselves in his head… It was nearly a year later when one of the boys made a fatal mistake, which he finally acted on them. One of the boys had come to his room in the night, his intentions clear. Unfortunately for the boy, Kazu had been prepared for this little visit, expecting that one of them would eventually become bold enough to do so. They thought that they were getting away with murder, so why shouldn’t they feel a little cocky about their success in torment? In any case, what did they know about getting away with murder? In the middle of the boy’s climax, Kazu struck and sealed his fate, sinking the small, concealed blade he’d hidden under his pillow into the boy’s temple and watched the light slowly fade from his eyes.
_____The blade penetrated the boy’s brain as he had done to him, Kazu had thought with a deranged grin as he had shoved the cooling body off of him, a fitting end for a rapist. That night he had no choice but to leave the orphanage, not he really minded. He was out of place and unwanted. It didn’t keep him from feeling ill at ease. If he got that kind of reception at the orphanage, what kind of greeting would he receive from the world? Thinking back, he remembered overhearing some of the older children talking in hushed tones about a Dr. Balton and something called “Kaijuu”. And with that, he had discovered something quite interesting. They were talking about them like they talked about the Nekojin, he had noted, which was particularly interesting, with disgust. Even more interesting to him, was the fact that the Kaijuu were apparently feared, unlike the Nekojin, who were helpless... like him.
_____Deciding that he would find out more about this Dr. Balton and his creations, he decided to travel to a big city and somehow winded up in Tokyo, the Big Apple of the East, though winter was just sweeping over the region at the time. Somehow surviving the long journey there by hiking, stealing away on trains and the like, Kazu felt even more out of place with the city’s tall skyscrapers and high-rises. Dirty, cold and filth-ridden from his trip, he found unexpected kindness from a business man who found him laying face-down and unconscious outside of his apartment building and brought him inside. The next morning, Kazu found that he had not frozen to death and that the business man who had taken him in was actually working for a corporation who knew quite a great deal about this Mr. Balton. He would find out later that this kind business man was quite underhanded in his thinking, and was not so kind after all.
_____He changed soon after, and met the first person who became the closest thing he’d ever had to a “friend.” He went by the name Akira; he too was a Kaijuu, and Kazu soon became fascinated with the other boy whose personality he overlooked since his was not the most savory either. Intense training was given and upon their change, they were ordered to give themselves an alias or keep to a nickname so that their Kaijuu would not be unleashed at random. Together, the two were assigned to a squad in which they would ravage the unfortunate humans who continued to hold themselves upon a pedestal. Responsible for the kidnapping of a specific Nekojin under the guise of a rescue after a staged Kaijuu attack, Kazu felt almost sorry for the boy who would become the Doctor’s next masterpiece.
_____It was just after that that he got himself into a relationship with Akira’s mirror persona; a strange thing as it was since he was in love with him at one point. He broke it off with her when he left the force, especially after finally seeing her true feelings towards Akira. Though this may have happened because of his departure, it wasn’t the cause of it. Thus far, Kazu had no trouble playing along with Akira, attacking town after town; he even got some sick sense of enjoyment out of it. What changed him was Yuten, though it was quite incidental. No longer was being a Kaijuu pleasing to him. Perhaps growing up had bestowed upon him the feeling of regret, guilt and bettering oneself, but whatever it happened to be, Kazu was tired of destroying things. He wanted normalcy, something he’d never been able to have. He left a week after Yuten’s training had been completed without a word to anyone.
_____After leaving the force, he gave himself a new alias of Yumemori Kazuma and became involved with a cute, pretty little redhead who owned a bakery in a village just outside of the Kobe prefecture. He lived with her for a few years until the fatal consequences of a Kaijuu getting involved with a normal human finally surfaced. He wasn’t sure who it was, or how they found him but he had a fairly good idea. A letter had come addressed to him… in his real name. She read it aloud to him, confused as to whom this Sawada Kazuhito was, and then all hell broke loose. When he regained consciousness, he was lying naked in the middle of a field. He never went back, because he knew exactly what he would find: death and destruction. Afterwards, Kazu managed to disappear underground for months before his first encounter with Arimara Hiroko. The gang was formed shortly after, which leads up to present events.
