Poems of Life: A New Love My love why did you have to die for me? You were perfect in every way, yet you died to set me free? This confuses me in every way because I am filth and not worthy of you at all. I've forsaken you yet you gave up your life for me? But now I know and understand the beauty of this gift. For you have given me the choice to love you back, your love completes the rift that's inside me. It'll never die nor fade away, it flows like a river in my soul.
