The little things and how they matter...
this is where you'll probably find the nonsense from the guy with his head in the clouds...
Head Shot
Ah, the 1st person rail shooter. Not as popular as the first person shooter these days, but still one of my favorite kinds of games. Whether I'm blazing away at my target or going for precision shots, I'm always having fun with it. Recently, I've been playing two games of the rail shooter genre: House of the Dead 2&3 Return, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. The two games sure are different. House of the Dead usually requires you to have a quick trigger and a sharp aim at the same time while only offering you one type of weapon. A lot of the times the fast-paced shooting gives you very little time to be precise. There's also lots of chances to save people, who will help you out by giving you a life pack. Boss encounters are the tricky part. They'll only take damage by being shot in their weak point, which can sometimes be a real pain to hit. The second House of the Dead has an original mode which allows you to change up how the game is played through using power-ups collected from previous playthroughs. You can choose from a multitude of power-ups ranging from different weapons to costume changes and more.

Umbrella Chronicles, on the other hand, Is a bit different. For one, the game takes things a little slower than House of the Dead, but makes up for the slowness with greater hordes of enemies. On top of that, you get ranked on how well you completed a stage. Ranks are based on time, enemies killed, critical hits inflicted on zombies, objects destroyed, and files collected. Another notable difference is the ability to have multiple weapons. The downside is that unlike the handgun, the other weapons have an ammo limit, and ammo doesn't stick out most of the time. Precision is the key in this game. If you're precise enough to pinpoint the weakspot on a monster, then you can take them out in one hit.

All in all, both are enjoyable shooter games. Plus it's fun to be the precise one as your buddy goes crazy on everything else.
