I lay near my window and see the bright moon. I imagine you next to me after. Side by side. With tears in my eyes. I regret loosing you, knowing that at times I feel we could get back, but not. We ignore our feelings, move on with our lives. We see each others faces like strangers, pass each other with no thought of words coming off our lips. There my silent heart beats with old memories of you and me.
A true friend. You are a friend. Who I will never forget. You are a friend I know who will stick with me to the end. You are friend. Whom I could cry on. You a friend who helped me out when I was down. You are a friend that gave me companionship when I thought I was alone. You are a friend I know who I can turn to, and keep secrets. You are a friend who I know can vent to me; and I to do the same thing. You are someone I can never forget. You are someome I will cherish forever. Your someone that I know will catch me when I fall. The love that we have as a friend is unbreakable. That is what I think True Friends are. I learned that trust must be earned, not the easy way, but more of the hard. I know that a true friend will never, ever leave you behind.
