Hell’s Gate…

It was pitch black, he was cowering in a corner on the floor when he started to feel the heat of the blaze. there then came loud, thundering footsteps coming up the stairs accompanying the merciless laughter that shook the place. The terrible creature then spoke an undecipherable word in a voice that could shake the highest mountain and turn stone to ash. Then there came a blood curdling, high pitched scream. Then he awoke with a shudder. And that is where are story begins!

Saito awoke when he heard a loud scream and sat up with a shudder, his body drenched in sweat. It was still dark outside in the dim early morning. He looked around his room, still expecting to see the terrible creature holding to his wrist, burning the flesh away. He quickly looked down at his own wrist. As he did this two of his companions ran into his room.
“What is it?” yelled Minoru Shin’ichi.
“What happened?! Who screamed?!” screamed Takayuki Noru.
The other companion, Kohaku Amaya, sat nonchalantly on the windowsill cleaning her Katana, looking bored.
Saito began to scream again. His eyes rolled back into his head! He was back in the blaze of hell with the horrific creature! His wrist was on fire, with the pain erupting as strange blue markings began to slither up his arm. His mind began to race! He felt excruciating pain as he stared at his companions’ faces. As he stared, an impulse began to rise to the surface of his mind, and not a pleasant impulse either. The impulse to kill! The longer he stared, the longer he was in agony, the impulse began to grow! He fell to the floor, trying to not act on the impulse.
By now he finally blacked out, but that didn’t stop his body from moving! He drew out his long, jagged knife from his belt and leaped toward Minoru Shin’ichi and Takayuki Noru. both petrified with terror and uncertainty near the doorway. There was a flash of bright light, the slash of a sword, the sound of blood dripping onto the stone floor, the sound of pain, and the sound of someone falling. Laughter erupting from the girl Saito had saved.
