Meaning "Adventure" in english. Its a bachata band. The singer does the sweetest (yet depressing) songs. Let me tell you about some of my favorite ones. ^-^

La Boda:
This is the number one reason they call the singer "Romeo". The man finds out thru the television that the women he loves (and DOES love him back) is getting married to a PRINCE that she barly meet to content her father. The music video starts off like the modern day Romeo and Julliet movie (the one with Leonardo Decaprio or something like that). Well he goes to the church with his friends/band singing to her, sayign he objects the marriage, then to everyone he explains their love story. He tells it so detailed, so romanticly. He states that not even death would seperate them. Saying how like his idol Romeo he wont ever give up on her like he never gave up on his Julliet. So many sweet things. then he turns to the Prince telling "now i turn my attention to the insignificant person...i know her secrets, her truths, everything. Your future wife crys today, but for me" then turns to her asking why is she doign it, why is she marrying that man knowing she still loves him. Then it basicly ends like that with her crying cause everything he's said is true.

Hermanita:
This one is him singing to his sister. Telling her "My nephews shouldnt see their mommy cry, there is a monster in your home and you sleep at his side at night." He tells her how her abusive husband is noo good, how if she said, he'd kill that man. Cause he's worthless and lost his dignaty the first tiem he hit her. That she should worry of her kids, and her own life. Then he tells all women in the world not to let them selves be-little by a man. then he tells her how it kills him to see her in that form, tellign her she can get away, reminding her how their parents worked hard for them to live a good liffe, and that she should live a nice life away from him.

Solo Por un Beso:
He talks how only one woman owns his heart. he begings it saying "there is a woman of dominates me with only a touch" (so sweet!) he talks how she means the world to him then he says "With only a kiss of her lips i go to heaven, talk to god, reach the sky, i'm happy with my life." He talks how he barly knows abotu her life but he knows all he needs to know that she is his. then says "with only one touch of her lips cupid strikes his bow and arrow, a kiss signifies friendship, making love, and the purest of love in every part of the world, no matter where you go." He talks of the sweet words Romeo said to his Julliet, and says his love is far beyond. Its so sweet!!!

Ella Y Yo:
This one is actually a little sad... Aventura sings it with Don Omar. They play best friends in here. Omar tells him that he is seeing a woman that is married. He tells Omar that he should fight for the woman he loves. That the husband probably failed her, that he no longer owns her heart, that if they are that happy together they shoudl be together. Omar tells him "No, yuo dont know. YOu are in no position to give me advice." and admits that what they did was wrong, how it kills him. Then teh guy from Aventura continues to tell him that he shouldnt be stupid, that they shoudl go for it. Then Omar says... "Friend forgive me, you've been there many times where i've gone to look for him, i cant believe i'm saying this, but its your wife." The guy from aventura brakes his glass and says the best phrase ever "Let god forgive you two, cause i never will. I realized all the times she said she went to Portoriquo with her friends she lied. " Both start crying, cause well yea its harsh. then omar tells him "I'm sorry, i love a friends for the stupidity of temptation..." Its so depressing!!!!!



Aventura has so many good songs! All the ones i talked abtou up there are in spanish though (i translated the phrases from the song). But they have very few in english. They are so sweet! I lvoe them. I write this cause next week they are comming here!!! But disgracfully i cant go crying ..... Waaaaa no fair, i woudl have so loved to meet the Bachata band that makes my heart melt with the "awwww's" lol... they have greast music! You all shoudl chekc them out biggrin They are awsome!
