Noa innocence comes in the form of a bow an arrow that she is always carrying no matter. When it's not activated it looks like a worn away wood bow and the arrows look frayed and tattered. When her innocence activates, it becomes a pure black metal bow with red runes inscribed into the surface. The arrows she keeps in a quiver around her waist reform to be brand new, also inscribed with the red runes.
Noa is also a Noah, but doesn't know it. Her Noah mark takes up most of her upper back and her ability allows her to look into people's minds, but only when she is touching their head, or hair, and only when they're sleeping. If she looks into someone's eyes, her Noah ability allows her to make them go to sleep when she wants them to so can read their mind. Noa is not aware of this power.

Noa's natural hair color is not blue. But...that's not a wig either. She dyed her hair to be blue so she can be more boyish. She always thought blue was more of her color anyway. Noa's eyes however are a striking green that she gets from her mother. She's tall for her age also, almost hitting 6 foot in bare feet. Very slim, Noa is always outside, so not only is she thin, but she's also got a good color on her skin.
Trying to be a tomboy is hard, and Noa tries to pull it off as well as she can. She rarely ever wears clothes at show off her back, as to hide the Noah mark on her back, which she calls a birthmark unknowingly. She likes to show off though, so to compensate, she shows off her stomach as much as possible. Her hands are usually covered by a pair of gloves, fingerless or not, so she can use her Innocence properly without her hands getting cut up. Noa will never be caught dead in a skirt or dress of any kind. She wears pants and shorts with boots and/or sneakers. Never high heels, never sandals.
Arounds her waist is her quiver to her her arrows (she thinks wearing a quiver on our back is only in the movies and it's impractical to wear the quiver there if you can't reach the arrows properly) and she's always carrying her bow around her back, wrapped up. Hidden under her sweaters, she wears a locket with her mom and grandma's pictures in it. She also has a bracelet on her right hand with a silver J hanging off of it.

Nao is...hard headed. Once she sets her mind into doing something, nothing can really sway her to do anything else. She is furiously stubborn and hates authority, but if someone demands her attention, and she knows she has to listen, she will. If she doesn't see you as a threat, you're just going to see her getting farther and farther away from you.
Everything she does, she tries to make a competition out of it. In fact, when her mother gave her the letter of summons to the Black Order, Noa just grabbed her innocence and arrows and ran out the door, screaming she had to be the first one there. Unfortunately, that's Noa's downfall. She always has to be on top, and that gets her into trouble sometimes. She's really sporty and fun though, always finding something to do with her free time and keeping other people busy as well with her constant need to move around.
Nao does have a dark side though, and although she doesn't know it, this is her inner Noah. When Jessalyn becomes angry, she becomes sadistic and manipulative. Even in this persona, she still wants to be on top and will do anything to get there, even if it means playing dirty. When she's mad, she has no rules, no morals, and not even a pinch of her normal sporty cuteness. The only way to calm her down is to take away the bracelet around her wrist.

Nao was born in Germany with her mother and grandmother raising her on a ranch. Noa loved to help out because she loved the horses and all the people who came by to buy from them. They didn't live near town, but Noa and her grandmother loved to travel there and pick up everything they needed. Her mother had health problems, so when Noa was old enough to work, that's what she did. When she was about six, her mother died, and her grandmother began to raise her. Noa was the person who was going to inherit the ranch if her grandmother happened to pass away.
One day, a man came by the ranch and said he had something for Noa from her father. Noa didn't want it, but her grandmother took it and gave it to Noa anyway. When she opened the package, it was a worn out bow and arrow. Thinking it was a joke, Noa decided to travel to France to see her father and have him explain what the bow was. When she got there, she met her father and he explained that it was Innocence. Her father had been keeping it safe for many years under orders of the Pope. He had found out that Noa was compatiable for it when she was still unborn. He had left Germany to go and take care of the Innocence until she was old enough to use it. Her father and her went home and he began to teach her how to use her Innocence and taught her how to be an archer.
Weeks after Noa had begun to train, her grandmother died from natural causes, so Noa began working on the ranch again, training on the side. A couple years later, Noa's father received a letter from the Black Order for Noa. Knowing that she had to go, she left Germany, heading for England.
