So, I'm totally content right now!! My computer is finally working well again! I had to deactivate some startup programs that aren't used anymore, and I add another GB or 2 to the RAM as virtual memory ^.^ YAY!!!! My computer today started out having only about 7GB left. Now it has 28.8 GB left of free space! I'm so excited now! It runs smoother and cleaner... Now all I have to do is make sure all my pictures are organized. I'm totally obsessed with my pictures/images/blinkies being organized!!
I'm also content because I just had 3 cups of tea smile I've been boiling water in an electric teapot (since we don't have the kind you can put on the stove.... ) and then I pour that into the porclin teapot, with a bit of milk, sugar, and of course a tea ground ball smile It's very relaxing to have tea. For some reason even more so with a teapot smile ^.^
I've been reading Inkspell... So far I really like it! I like how the authors writing is consistent. It's also interesting to see the style of the authors writing. Espically as she is from Germany! Sometimes I have to re-read the sentence 2 or 3 times to completely understand... But I like that. It shows different ways of thinking,talking, and writing in other cultures!!
Also, last night I applied for two jobs. Each one being a cabin counselor. I hope I get them! Being a cabin counselor is so much fun! Last time I was one it made me so happy! At first the kids I think thought I was a stickler, and they tried to get away with everything. But once they found out I meant business they totally did what I said usually. It was funny sometimes they and I acted like it was a joke. It was raining and the camp rules are,"No running when it is raining". This rule is there because the asphalt gets slippery and kids fall down, and sometimes get seriously hurt. Well, three kids were running, so I made all the kids walk all the way back to the cabin and then back down walking. lol They actually had to do it twice ^.^ Also, when it was time to line up for things the girls would take FOREVER to get ready to go out the door. So, I made a rule that for every time that I countdown from 10 and they aren't ready when they should be... It's 2 min. off of bedtime. That really got them. By the end of the week the girls (even some of the boys) would listen to me all the time... To nearly everything that I said! smile While other cabin leaders who just wanted to be their friend more than their leader... Had major problems! lol They'd yell and scream at the kids as well. I felt bad for those kids and counselor. I mean she'd scream and yell and be really demanding. All I had to do is separate kids who were continuously talking... Then I'd just motion for them to be in a straight line... And there we go smile We got to be first twice I think smile We also got to be first another time because the people in charge said,"Whoever's cabin does the best interpretation of a banana slug gets to go to dinner first!" So, immeaditly I laid down on my stomach and made four feelers. lol And everyone was like all super surprised? lol it was funny. I had kids tell that I was an awesome leader just because of that! Other kids who'd never talked to me said that was so awesome. I was like 0.o zomg... I was just pretending to be a banana slug... lol
Anyway... Sorry for the long rant down memory lane. I just felt like typing and thinking about the past... Point is... I really like being a cabin leader/counselor!!! smile And... I'm content right now smile
