Sorry to have kept anyone waiting, I've been really busy these past couple of months and well I really don't have time to continue writting my story but still here it is after two months I believe, here is the next chapter of lucky. Enjoy!

Bump

I woke up late the next day since I couldn’t fall asleep all of last night (Dumb guy couldn’t stop bothering me). I rushed out of my bed and ran to the bathroom to quickly do my whole routine, I didn’t bother to tackle my hair at all, I just ran back to my room and grabbed whatever I had available to my disposal.

I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar and went right back upstairs and grabbed my backpack and flats and ran out of the house in full speed.

I got to school with only five minutes before the actual bell would ring. When I got to my biology class I saw that everyone was getting ready to leave somewhere.

“Ms. Rogers? Where are we going?”

“Oh! Miss…”

“Sam.”

“Oh! Right, Miss Samantha; we are going to the junior assembly to have the basic conduct of this school year. So check yourself in; we’re late as of this moment so, once you’ve sign that you’re here, join us.” She said and quickly walked towards the front of the mob of students.

Ok, so just sign myself in and that was it. Pretty simple to follow along.
I looked for my name and found it, once I finished doing that; I left my stuff in my seat and closed the door behind me.

I could tell that I was the last one to go in because the whole entire junior class was already there. I found two empty seats in the back of the auditorium. I took a seat and waited for the same speech that the principle gave. I didn’t look for Mr. ‘Strange-Familiar’, really I didn’t want to remember yesterday’s incident so I just slouch in my seat and waited patiently. Like I had telepathically called him I saw him walked in to the auditorium and start to look for a seat or someone. I looked away and began to hyperventilate, I tried to control my breathing and just chill and look casual, I mean what where the odds that he would remember me from yesterday plus, I was sitting in the back so you couldn’t really see very well.

“ANDREW!” I heard someone yell. I looked up and tried to see who was calling who.

I saw him react to the name and walked over to the group of guys and girls. So that was his name then, Andrew well, at least I knew that I didn’t really have any classes with him so it was obvious that he was a junior (no duh, retard). So I was pretty happy to know that he wasn’t going to sit next to me so that would make my day better.

I analyzed his every action and reaction as well and saw how human he was as he interacted with people around him. He was very relaxed and serene; he smiled from time to time and seem to get along with almost anybody, well, almost anybody. I kept starring at him and his group and then it donned on me, there were no empty seats where his friends were at. I saw the opportunity to look for another seat before the principle came out and talked to us. I search and search and found no seat available and what I had hoped not to see was the principle, he quickly went back up to where he was previously standing and sat next to me.

Great, now I had to sit next to him for the next 2 hours! Why was I cursed with this new actor?

Time was ticking very slowly and every movement he did made me edgy. I fidgeted every second and try to cover myself with my messy hair. When it was all finally over, we both got up and walked out of the auditorium. Being the first two people out; I quickly walked down the stairs and went straight for the Biology room. I waited outside and saw my class walk towards me, Ms. Rogers didn’t say anything to me but told the whole entire class that it was now fourth period.

I walked through the crowds of people and found myself in the wrong side of the campus. I knew I was going to get in to trouble with the teacher but it didn’t really matter; I was too busy keeping my mind out of the whole ‘Andrew’ situation.

In a certain way, I knew that it seemed like I was stocking him but I wasn’t; just cause I knew his name and that was it was not like I was stocking him, there was more to just a name to stock someone; I would know, Lauren did that to a guy and he was getting scared when he found that she even stocked him to the bathroom.

I found myself in the direction to my class and decided to keep my movie like life. I walked in and saw that everybody was writing down notes that had been put up on the overhead. I quickly took my seat and took out a pen and paper and began to write down the notes. It was slow like yesterday and we finished early.

I sat in my seat not moving, I starred at floor and began to picture him in my head. It was starting to bug me that he looked so closely to my sweet little angel and the fact that he seemed so unreal just by looking at him. I began to hum low enough for me to distinguish what I was trying to sing and then I began to sing the words. I didn’t realize that the class had gotten quite while I was still picturing him tilting his head to the side as if I had called him by my beloved cat’s name.

“Wow, never even knew she could sing.” I heard someone in the back say.

Taken out of my own mind by this sudden force, I looked up and saw everyone starring at me; I felt my face go extremely red.

“So what were you singing?” I heard someone else say this time.

“Yeah, it sounded like you were in love or you lost your boyfriend.” The same guy said and elbowed the guy that was next to him.

“I never even imagine she would be in love or fall in love; you know how she is.”

I felt wrong, like I was in the wrong place doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. The bell rang just when I had wanted it to ring, I ran out of there before the teacher could even say what we were going to do tomorrow.

I went in to the photography room and sat down in my seat exhausted. I was one of the first people in their and thought that I might just get started in the project since we were just now starting and turning it in when we came back from winter vacation. It seemed like a long time from now but we where only going to have a certain amount of time and we were going to enter a contest at our local fair; we were all require to enter at least one photo from our gallery that we were working on.

I knew that he wasn’t going to talk at all; it was already written out that he was just going to go over role and was going to just say what we were already doing. I got up and went to get a camera, I told him that I was here and went on to taking pictures outside.

It was strange for the whole campus to settle down at a certain point. I still was following the script to its every step. I decided to go in to the main hall and take pictures there; maybe just maybe an idea would light on me and I’d find a complete meaning on what I would call my collection.

Nothing came to me and I walked back to the classroom casually. I found a good picture to take while I stared at my surroundings and decided that I should at least take something than nothing. I walked over to a tree that was out in the middle of it all; beside it was a picnic table for students to take their lunch by the shade and just a few steps from it was a trash can. I noticed that up on one of the trees branches was a bird’s nest that had little eggs in it, I stood up on the table to get a better view of it and take a good picture at a perfect angle. Not being able to get the picture that I was trying to approach, I began to come up with more ways to get taller (curse this small height). Nothing came to me and I was left with trying to climb the tree.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you” a voice from below spoke.

“Like I care, it’s not like I’m going to drop the nest.” I said, not looking at the person.

“I wasn’t referring to the nest.”

“I’ll make sure not to fall on you then, ok?”

“Fine, I’m not the one who’s gonna come down and humiliate myself.”

“Trust me; I’m not the type to do that.”

He didn’t say anything else and I could feel his gaze on me. I decided to grab a branch that looked sturdy and try to peek a little bit more. Once I had the perfect picture I grabbed the camera from around my neck and get the picture. I kept on hearing some crackling noises coming from somewhere in the tree and I was beginning to worry that we had squirrels that would through nuts or twigs at me, I was so wrong.

I had my finger on the button to take the picture when I heard something brake. It was too late to realize that the branch I had been clinging on to was slowly braking. I fell from the top of tree and ended up landing inside the trash can that was a few steps from the tree.
Embarrassed by the fact that I realized that the guy wasn’t referring to the bird nest or to me falling on him, but to that fact that I might fall and land IN the trash can.

He got up from where he was laying and I saw that the one person I SO didn’t want to see was going to remember me.

Andrew.

He walked over to me as I struggled to get out of where I was stuck and stood there starring at me.

“I thought you said that you’re not the type to humiliate yourself but it looks like you are.” He said and half way laughed the last word.

“Fine, have your good laugh; just get me out of this trash can!” I said, struggling to get out of it.

“Um, not yet, it’s missing something.”

He walked over to where there was a banana peel on the floor (where’d the banana peel come from? Don’t these people now where the trash can was?) and picked it up.

“You wouldn’t dare do what I think you’re going to do.” I half way threatened.

“It depends if what you’re thinking is exactly what I’m going to do.”

He put the banana peel on my head and grabbed the camera off the floor. I tried to get the banana peel of my head put realized that if I took of both my hands of the trash can I would go in deeper.

“What are you doing with my camera?”

“A momentum of this wonderful moment, now smile.”

Click.

He began to laugh and placed the camera on the table and began to walk away.

“HEY! Where do you think you’re going?!”

“Back to class, good luck getting out.”

The nerve, to just put a banana peel on my head and leave? Who was he to do something like this?!

I managed to get out with some dignity in me (I fell on the floor and manage to squeeze my butt out of the trash can). I walked to the photography class and sat in my seat. The teacher starred at me and so did the students, I just glared at them back and they all looked away.

“Um, you have a banana peel on your head.” A little girl said and looked away when I starred at her.

“AHH! ANDREW I’M GOING TO MURDER YOU!” I yelled and the bell rang for lunch.

I didn’t see him at all which was a good thing because the instant I saw him I would tackle him down to the floor. Lauren and Steph didn’t even try to talk to me since I scared them when I am like this so they talked about what they were going to do for Dex and Josh. Apparently, both they’re birthdays land on the exact same day.

I sat there, starring down at all the students that passed before us, none of which made any eye contact with me.

His face was in my mind constantly and it was bothering me, I got up and punched the table. Scaring both Lauren and Steph, I felt the stares of the people around me. I slumped right back down and took one big breath.

I managed to relax throughout lunch and sixth period; I walked to the counseling office and put my stuff down. Right away, one of the counselors came up to me and gave me a pass for a student. I didn’t read the name until I was half way in the hall to see where I was going and to who I was going to give it too.

“No way! They can’t do this to me! I don’t want to go and give this to him!” I screeched.

The pass was meant for Andrew Vang in room 268. Not wanting to go I realized that I was two doors down from his class. I walked in like nothing was wrong and handed the pass to the teacher. I turned around and was about to walk back when the teacher asked if he needed to go now or later. I didn’t know if he needed to go now so I said whenever he isn’t working. Wrong answer.

The teacher called his name and told him to go with ME to the counseling office and come back to get his stuff if he was going to get his classes changed. I was about to say that he doesn’t need to go at this exact moment but he was already up and walking towards me. I looked away and walked out of the class.

He walked a few steps behind me as I dragged my legs to get to the counseling office. He didn’t speak to me which was good but it all changed when he asked me a question that was going to make me mad all over again.

“So, how’d you got out of the trash can?”

I stopped midway and turned around.

“How’d I get out of it? You want to know how I got out? Oh I’ll tell you how I got out once my foot goes somewhere you don’t want it to go!”
“Have you ever heard of anger management? I think they’re giving classes for that here; you might want to take some to control your temper.”

“Temper? What temper, the only person who needs those classes is you since you mumbled something unintelligent to me yesterday at the counselor’s office.” I yelled.

He didn’t know what I was talking about until I turned around and began to walk away. He caught up and stopped me and turned me around to face him.

“Wait your mad because of yesterday? How would you even know that was me, I didn’t even bump in to you?”

“You sure? Ok then, yesterday a girl was carrying a bunch of envelops and bumped into you accidently and dropped them all on the floor and starred at you while you looked mad and mumbled something underneath your breath, does that sound familiar to you now?”

“Wait that was you?”

“No, it was my Grandmother; no duh it was me.”

“Well sorry ok, I didn’t know you held grudges about insignificant things like that?”

“I don’t, but the way you looked at me and then the mumbling that you did made me want to go after you and beat you up.”

“Would have loved to see you try.”

“You would have.”

We starred at each other and then I sighed and began to walk away. He followed and that was the end of our conversation.

We got to the counselors office and he went in to one of the offices and waited for his councilor. I didn’t say anything and sat down. A minute later, I was given another pass to hand out and left.

I was coming back when I saw that he was walking the opposite direction that I was and had a paper in his hand. I was on the verge to ask him what it was but didn’t, I mean who was I to ask him things like that when I knew that he was still ticked off that I yelled at him and held grudges. He saw me walking and began to walk right in front of me.

“What?” I said in a monotone voice.

“Just wanted to let you know; I’ll be seeing you in your seventh period class.”

“WHAT!”

“Yeah, I transferred out of my original class and in to a free period.” He snickered.

“I can’t believe you, why?”

“I already tock that class back at my previous school so, there’s no point in me being in that class.”

“What, but all juniors have to take that class, it’s a requirement, what school did you go to that made you skip that class?”

“A private one.”

“What, but that wouldn’t explain how you know all those other people at the auditorium today.”

“Maybe because I knew them for a very long time and probably I was tired of being in a private school, anyways why are you stocking me?” he said raising an eyebrow.

“Never mind if I stock you or not; I don’t understand why you would do this to me?”

“I don’t know, maybe because I want to make you suffer just a little.”

“What, that’s just evil?”

“I know I am and do me a favor?”

“Now what?” I said in a high pitched voice.

“Save me a seat next to you, I still want to know how you got out of the trash can and I’m not letting you go home if you don’t tell me.”

My eyes widened and I knew that he was serious about that.

He walked away smiling at himself and I stood their starring at him. I was in for a long year with him, and this was barely September.
I took a seat and slammed my head on the table. Out of all the possible things this was the one thing that was going to make my day a horrible one. I already had a perfect idea that Andrew was going to be changing the script of my movie like life so what else was I to expect?

The door open and a backpack fell right beside the empty seat.

Death came way to early for me and I was going to have to embrace it.

“So,” he whispered into my ear, “how did you exactly get out?”

I groaned.

“What was that?”

“I fell over and squeeze my butt out. Happy now?”

“Much.”

“Why did you do that to me?” I asked half way begging him.

“What? Change from class or today’s incident?”

“What else would I be talking about?”

“Well, I did warn you if that’s what you are referring to but, you didn’t listen to me so I added just a little bit of humiliation to your little act.”

“Thanks, I am very grateful for that.” I said sarcasm all over my words.
He chuckled and leaned back. He seemed very relaxed, totally different from what he was yesterday. It was like I was seeing a different person.

“So, what’s your name? I mean, I don’t know nothing about you except that you don’t follow people’s warnings so, what’s your name?”

I sighed and was ready for almost everything he would throw at me.

“Its Samantha; Samantha Guerilla; just call me Sam, ok?”

“Sam, would have never thought you’d be named like that.” He said and looked away.

“What is that suppose to mean?”

“Nothing, I’m just saying that you don’t look like a Sam to me.”

“Then what-” I stopped midway my sentence and felt my phone vibrate.
I grabbed my phone and saw that it was a text massage that my mom had sent. I quickly read it and found out that my brother was coming home today.

“I thought we weren’t suppose to have phones on? Someone’s not a good student here.”

“Shut up already, I just got news that my obnoxious brother is coming home.”

“Why is that so bad?”

“It just is, I never got along with him and I’ll never get along with him.”
“That sounds a bit harsh don’t you think?”

“No, not to me at least.”

He didn’t say anything else to me instead he just sat their starring at the ceiling. I didn’t know what else to say to him at this point since I was too worry thinking on what to do when my brother came home.
It took me off guard when he grabbed my phone from my hand and didn’t even give it back to me not until he felt like it. He was pressing bottoms and punching in numbers, at a certain point I thought that he was texting someone without him asking if it was even all right with me.

He handed me my phone and I looked at it and went for the text messages. None where send.

“What did you do just a minute ago?” I asked.

“Nothing; unless you wanted me to do something in particular.”

“You’re impossible and to think, this is just the second day of this school year.” I rolled my eyes and slumped down my seat.

“You worry too much; can’t you just trust me?” he said, bashing his long lashes at me.

“Don’t do that to me! We barely know one another’s name and now you think its fine to grab peoples stuff just like that?”

“Well technically, you know more about me and I hardly know that much of you so what does that say about you?”

I stop before I even said anything that I would end up regretting and I could see that he was happy that he got me on that one.

“I swear, if I don’t survive the end of the school year; it will be because of you.” I said and looked away from him.

“Don’t say things like that,” he said sarcastically, “You’ll make me cry.” And began to fake cry.

“Again, your impossible and stop fake crying already; you’re going to get me in trouble.”

At first he really didn’t stop crying end then I honestly thought that he was crying and that would have left me in a bad position.

“Andrew? Hey are you ok? Really Andrew don’t do these kinds of things to me. Andrew? Please Andrew, I’m sorry, I really didn’t want to offend you in any way; are you really crying? I’ll go get you some tissue just wait for a second-”

He began to laugh and I was left taken off guard. Was this an act of his and I had fallen for it…

Of course it was why didn’t I see it coming?

“Great, I should have known; I take back my apology for that matter of fact.” I said and put my phone away.

“Oh come on Sammy; you can’t be that mad at me?” he asked and bashed his long eyelashes at me for the second time.

“Ugh, will you stop doing that; it makes me feel weird every single time you do that.”

“Fine I won’t do that, I promise that I will behave, ok?”

I stared at him and he gave this big warm smile at me that had me right back to yesterday. I was in complete hypnosis by how he smiled at me and in a sort a way I began to wonder if he stared at all the girls like this, let along any girlfriend that he has ever had. He through his head back and then I shook my head and punched him on his arm.

“Oww, I didn’t know I had that effect on all the girls well… yeah I did, I just wanted to see if you would fall for it again.” He said as he contain the laughter that was still in him and rubbed his arm.

“Yeah you didn’t know, well now you know what will happen if you attempt to do that all over again.” I threaten and got up.

He follow like a dog would follow their master and I was beginning to feel that he wouldn’t even let me walk home on my own. This was no going to be pretty if Michael was at home right now which, he was and he wasn’t going to be along.

We both got passes to hand out and I saw that we both had separate buildings to hand them out, quiet disappointed (but I never once showed it in my face) I left the office and walked out of their to hand the passes out. I heard the door open and I could feel that he stared at me as I walked away.

I waved my hand high and yelled that it will only take me five minutes to hand them out.

Of course, he would want to challenge me in that and I could hear him say…

“We’ll see about that.”

I was coming back from the last class and saw Andrew leaning against the wall waiting.

“Fine, you won this round but I’ll guarantee you that you won’t win so easily.”

He half smiled and we both went walking back to the councilors. At a certain point he asked me a question that I thought I would never be able to answer but, I knew that the curiosity was bubbling inside of him and he wasn’t going to let me go home until I told him.

“Well, the only reason why I don’t like my brother is because he has always been a jerk to me. Always rubbing it in my face on how much more important he has always been and with him I wouldn’t have the things that I have now, which he is wrong.”

“So you and your brother have never gotten along?”

“We did, at a certain point I actually wanted to always hang with my brother but after he graduated from high school and joined the army, he began to get colder, crueler. His last girlfriend broke up with him over something that had happened to her, I see her from time to time and she says hi to me but she never says anything about Michael, she basically wants to leave him in her past and never have to re-open wounds that have been mending for such a while now.”

“So is that why you don’t want him here, then?”

I hesitated for only a moment and then I sighed.

“If I could go back and stop the conflict that has us like this; I would but, it just can’t be. I guess I was meant to play this part and so has he, I try to do something but what is the point when only one is willing to stop the problem and the other be a complete child? I honestly don’t see the us getting along but maybe; just maybe, it might change for the best,” I said turning to see him, “and it might all be because of you.” I said and smiled.

“Ok, I haven’t heard that one in a while but I’m glad it’s because of me. I guess we were meant to be fiends then since we seem to bump into each other frequently at least, you’ve seen me almost everywhere.”

I laughed and the bell ranged.

It was now the end of the day and it was already over. I didn’t know if Andrew was going to let me go home in peace or if he was going to walk with me; I prayed that his friends would call him and he wouldn’t have to see my brother at all, I knew that Michael would insult him and I didn’t want that.

We walked in to the councilor’s office and picked up our stuffs and walked out through the main office and in to the hot sun. We kept talking to one another and then Steph and Lauren saw me. Both in surprise and astonishment came running towards me and tackled me with questions.

“Sam! Are you going to introduce us to your new friend?” Steph said as she eyed Andrew up and down.

“Steph, Lauren, this is Andrew; Andrew these are my two friends Steph and Lauren.”

Andrew smiled and looked at them and did the same thing that he did to me; he bashed his long eyelashes at them making both Lauren and Steph lose their train of thought.

“Ok, Steph, Lauren, I’m heading home to see my obnoxious brother.” I said and did a face of the mere thought that I’m going to have to share the bathroom with him again.

“Oh! He’s here again?” Steph asked.

“Yeah, apparently he got back from where he was.”

“Wasn’t he in the Mediterranean?” Lauren asked this time.

“I don’t know and I don’t care where he was these past couple of months, I just hope he can leave as soon as possible because I know for a fact that he will be in the bathroom fixing his makeup and hair” I said and imitated him putting on blush.

“Oh, well then I guess we can all walk together or something and get to know each other a bit more, what do you say Sam?” Steph asked with more enthusiasm then with her new lover.

I was about to answer when Andrew told Steph something that would leave me in shock and would leave me wanting to go with both of them if it would save my life.

“Actually, Sam was going to get a ride with me and my friends. It’s a hot day and she doesn’t have a water bottle so I don’t think the guys would mind if we gave her a ride.”

Both Steph and Lauren’s faces went in shook and their eyes seemed to be popping out of their sockets. With that being said, he put his arm around my shoulders and dragged me (because I couldn’t feel my feet at all when he said I was getting a ride from him and his friends.) I was going to protest when I could see out of the corner of my eyes that he was snickering.

“Andrew?”

“Yeah?”

“What were you thinking when you said that I was getting a ride from you and your,” I gulped “friends?”

“It is a hot day and my friends want to meet the girl that got stuck in the trash can this morning.”

“WHAT! No, I’m not going, I’ve been humiliated by you already long enough I don’t need it from your friends now so I’ll be walking in the hot sun if you don’t mind; I’ll let the sun punish me with its rays.”

“Too late for that.”

And it was.

He dropped his arm from around me and walked over to his friends. Like this morning, he interacted with them like any one would yet; I had no idea why I made such a big deal about it. Everything seemed out of audio and I just stared at them, feeling a bit out of place but, it all seemed better without me. I ceased the opportunity to leave and I did.

I began to walk a little and then I turned around and tock very quiet steps, sadly, they weren’t quite enough. One of Andrews’s friends told Andrew that I was beginning to run away from. He called me and I slowly turned around and saw him leaning against the Toyota pickup truck.

I slowly walked back and stood exactly where he had left me.

“So, trying to run away now?”

“Hey Andy, is she the one you were talking about at lunch?” I heard one of the guys ask.

I could feel my face flush and I could say that it was because of the sun but, that would only give him more reason to take me home.

“Yeah, that’s her alright. Rick, Steve, Luis, Lain; this is Sam, Sam these are my friends since I can remember.”

I looked up and saw that there was only one girl in his whole group, I wasn’t going to ask about the other people, maybe they lived closer or they had other after school activities.

“So, are we going to drop her off first and then head on over to where we had planned?”

“We can-” I interrupted Andrew.

“It’s ok, you can drop me off first and then leave; as a matter of fact you can drop me off a block away from my house, I don’t mind walking a bit.”

They all stared at me and then burst out laughing.

Did I say something funny?

“Hey Drew, what did you say to her to have her this scared?” Lain asked him once she had finished laughing.

“Nothing but, we’ll do what she says then. Hey Sam! Put your backpack in the back of the truck and sit in the front.”

They all groaned and Andrew ignored them, he took the keys out of his pocket and began the engine. I walked quickly to the truck and dropped my backpack in the back and walked over to the passenger’s side and sat down.

He started the engine and waited.

I turned my head to see the hold up and saw him eye the seat belt. Yet again I blushed and buckled myself up.

“Ready?” He asked me.

“Yeah, I guess.” I said not turning to eye him or any of his friends.

“Hey! Please spare us the whole love scene; some of us have week stomachs when it comes to that stuff.”

“Luis, shut up and let me drive without having to hear your voice.”

So this is what they were like? It was a funny feeling since I really never went with Steph or Lauren to any of the rides with their previews boyfriends, let alone I never really trusted none of their boyfriends to drive me anywhere, not even down the block but, this was a different feeling, I actually felt fine, a bit out of place but I felt fine knowing that he was behind the wheel. Now the only thing that was going to be hard to do was getting past Michael.
