I got bored on farmville and I made this out of hay bales. It was a good waste of about an hour of my time. I spent roughly 40 minutes designing the thing. After I got that all done I had placed it in the very middle of my farm where it would get in the way. I had to manually move it one hay bale at a time to get it out of the way so I could plow and plant. It's 13 by 33 bales which is a total of 429 hay bales. That takes time to move one piece at a time. It cost a total of 53,625 farmville coins. I got 2145 exp out of it. Actually it cost a little more than that and I earned a little more exp out of it because I made the red field too big and had to get rid of a lot of it. Still the figures posted are what it would cost to make it exactly as mine is made. I find it funny that I get 2145 exp out of it. I've been playing a lot of Doom 3 lately and it takes place in the year 2145.
My next project is possibly making an American flag. I saw someone make a small flag, but it didn't even have the 50 stars on it. I want as close to scale as I can get. I can recycle the red and white bales. I just need to buy the blues and possibly a few more whites. There are two problems I am having.
1. It's going to be a little complex designing this. I can't mentally design it well. I grabbed a graph paper template off the internet I figured in paint I can make a simple design. The design sucked. I figured for each star I can use 1 white bale. The blue field turns up longer than it is wide. With some mental figuring I think a 1X2 patch of white bales would get the blue field longer, perhaps a little too long. The stars would look kinda weird too being too wide. Another problem is with the stripes. With each stripe being 1 bale thick they won't stretch down far enough and 2 bales thick drops too far. With a bit more figuring I think if I make each star 2 bales by 3 they should look about right and the field should be about right. Making the stripes 3 bales thick should match up closer to what I am looking for. I'll have to try it in paint again to get a better idea what it would look like.
2. Area might also be a problem. I could just do a simple somewhat half assed flag, but I want something that will look good. To get a good looking flag as my previous wall of text indicated I need a large scale flag. I still want to do some farming on farmville so I might have conflicts there. I don't have the cash to expand my farm or the friends to do it with coins.
