Book 2: Chapter 10: Dates, Team? What's Going On?!
Vanessa and Nicole were standing on the front steps of Kevin and Me's house. Nicole looked annoyed, but Vanessa was worried. I don't know why they were there, but there was only one way to find out.
Vanessa: We thought you were dead! It's a miracle!
Nicole: And who's this?
Adam: A friend of theirs.
Vanessa: How old are you?
Adam: 16.
Nicole: But why were you three missing all this time?
Vaughn: We got caught up with some... unfinished business.
Vanessa: *Hugs Vaughn and Kevin at same time* But at least your alright.
Kevin: Why were you here anyway?
Nicole: To see if you were ok. You haven't been to school in days.
Vaughn: Well, since we didn't get to before, how about we go on that date? At Pablo's?
Vanessa and Nicole: Sure!
Adam: Dates, huh? Looks like the kid has grown up.
Vaughn: *Drags* I'm 14 now Adam. It's not like I can't go out with a girl.
Adam: I never said you couldn't go. I just wanna see how much you've matured.
Vaughn: Fine, you can come. Just don't okay?
Adam: Ok then. *Sighs in disbelief*
Kevin: Ready to go?
Vaughn: Yeah.

At Pablo's I offered to buy a whole Pie. They girls thought it was very gentleman-ish of me to buy. $8.99 out of my wallet.
Vanessa and Nicole: Mmm!
Vaughn: Like it? I bought Spinach and Liver pizza.
Kevin: *Looks at me awkwardly*
Vaughn: Kidding!
Vanessa: Wow, nice and funny!
Kevin: *Coughs: Yeah right!*
Vaughn: Your just mad cause... well, I better not say.
Adam: *Squints eyes* Hmmm...
Nicole: Anything wrong Adam?
Adam: No. Just, I've been away on vacation for a while I haven't seen my friends in a while.
Kevin: First, you call that a vacation? And Second, we're right here.
Adam: Different friends.
Vanessa: *Finishes pizza and yawns* Well, I'm pretty tired and full so call it a day guys?
Kevin: Sure.
Vaughn: Alright by me. Want me to walk you home Vanessa?
Vanessa: *Eyes shimmer* More than anything in the world! *Needle scratches* Uhh, I mean sure, I guess.
Vaughn: *Walks outside* Ok.

After we all took Vanessa and Nicole home on Adam's Moped, we started going on a route out of Cleaver City.
Kevin: Where are we going?
Adam: To assemble a team.
Vaughn: What for?
Adam: You think we're gonna destroy the Glorfians by ourselves?
Kevin: I thought it was just a one time thing.
Vaughn: This is awesome!
We knocked on the front door of a building that we've never seen before.
???: Yeah?
Adam: You hear anything about the Glorfians lately?
