Interviewer: So it seems we have everyone here today, My Chemical Romance and Our Organic Chemical. It makes a lot of sense that two bands like you guys would go on tour, both being chemically inclined and all. Was that a coinsodence that your names were so similar or was someone coping someone else?
Christa: You wanna take this one, Ev?
Evera: Actually, it was Gerard's fault that we came up with that name.
Gerard: Oh, my fault? Would you care to elaborate on that?
Evera: Why not? Several years ago, Chris and I were talking about an interview of MCR we saw on AOL music. You know, that "On the Spot Question" thing? I told Chris that I found it so amusing when the interviewer said, "Organic or Chemical?" Gerard right away replied with "Organic". Obviously, my reasoning for the humor was because he's the head of My Chemical Romance. So then Chris was like, "Yeah, an organic chemical." And I said, "My Organic Chemical." Pause. "Wouldn't that make a cool band name?" And she said, "Our Organic Chemical, otherwise it's too close to My Chemical Romance."
Interviewer: How does that work out, though? An Organic Chemical?
Christa: That's the thing. It's just kind of...well, not possible. I don't know how to explain it, really. It just fit. There's no such thing as an organic chemical, and it kind of makes you think too much.
Evera: We like making people's brain's hurt.
Christa: Hell yeah.
Interviewer: So, how far along are you on the tour?
Frank: We're about two months into it. We've done four concerts, and they've all been awesome.
Interviewer: Is there anything that makes your concerts so amusing?
Evera: I know my favorite part is watching Gerard.
Gerard: What??
Evera: Yeah, seriously. I mean, besides the fact that you have a nice a**.
Gerard: Everybody loves my a**.
Interviewer: Could you elaborate please?
Gerard: On my a**?
Interviewer: No! Evera, on watching Gerard.
Evera: Oh. Well, I just love the fact that they'll work for literally hours trying to figure out what cooriography...type...stuff they should do for each song, but when you watch him, it looks like he's making it up on the spot.
Kalira: But that's the best part!
Christa: Very true!
Interviewer: Hah. I bet that is great. Since we're on the topic of concerts, what's the strangest thing that's ever happened during a performance?
Mikey burst out laughing.
Gerard: Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?
Mikey: Probably.
Gerard: We'll I'll just tell my story then.
Evera [leans her head on her knees]: I can see this coming already.
Gerard: So we're in the middle of a song, Headfirst For Halos, and there's that one long guitar solo before the line "Think happy thoughts" and I remember thinking, "Oh, s**t, what am I supposed to do here?" So I look over at Ev, and she's starring back at me with this paniced look on her face, like she was thinking the same thing I was.
Munch makes kissing noises.
Gerard: SHUSH! Shush. I'm getting to that. I ran over to her, and decided to give her one of those big, passionate kisses that the couples always do randomly during concerts to kill time until the solo was over.
Frank: And because she was looking so damn sexy that night.
Evera: Stop now. Your nose is growing.
Gerard: So as I'm finding myself getting lost in the kiss, I feel Ev's fingernails digging into my back. Now, being the weirdo I am, I thought it was kind of hot, like she was getting into it too. But no...
Mikey: After the concert, she walks up to him and goes...wait...what did you say again?
Kalira [laughs]: I heard it. She says, "I'm so, so sorry if I hurt you on stage! The teenies were pulling at my legs, and I was holding onto you for dear life!"
Everyone laughs but Evera.
Evera: They were! They were grabbing onto my ankles trying to pull me away!
Gerard: Well, at least your safe.
Ray: Yes, we're all happy of that.
Interviewer: Changing gears here. Gerard, how did you and Evera hook up?
Mikey laughs.
Gerard: Oh, God.
Mikey: Should I tell 'em?
Gerard: Go for it.
Mikey: Yeah, so, Gerard had been all down in the dumps lately because the anniversary of his grandma's passing just passed by. Obviously, he was single, so I was like, "Hell, why not try to hook him up?" Now, I had just heard of this new band, and I found it funny that they used "Chemical" in their name. So I called Evera up and said, "How would you like to sing with My Chemical Romance?"
Evera: Of course I jumped at the offer.
Mikey: And so we had her randomly burst onto the stage during "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)".
Kalira: Aww...love at first note.
Frank: No one really knows what happened. They just kinda hooked up.
Interviewer: I've heard that Chris and Mikey are a couple, too.
Mikey: Sure are. Our story is a little simplier. I first met her when Gerard first met Evera. We just hit it off, really. She was beautiful, an amazing guitarist, and she had a great personality.
Christa: Now your nose is growing.
Mikey: No, it's not.
Interviewer: Now, Kalira, word has it that you're going with Benji Madden from Good Charlotte. Fact or fiction?
Kalira [blushes]: Fact.
Interviewer: Wanna tell me more about that?
Kalira [shaking her head]: No. I'm good.
Interviewer: Well, okay. And that's about all the time we have. Catch us next time as My Chemical Romance and Our Organic Chemical share their deepest secrets of their tour; on and off the stage.
Gerard: Be good kids!
Evera: Keep on rockin'.
Munch: One by one, the penguins steal my sanity...
