Dropped off a application at shell yesterday or the day before, and I have an interview tommorow.. so they're probably hiring me on the spot...

It's a good thing, because I need a job.. but I wish it wasn't the shell. I mean, in this town, the shell is pretty much the best job you can have, all things considered.. I just wish it wasn't the one I had to take..

If I get there, and I'm working graveyard again, that's fine. I can do graveyard every night, it's my territory, I RULE the night, lol. Plus I like being up there alone and doing whatever I want while working.. like listening to music, taking breaks, etc.

I'm hoping they don't hire me, honestly.. I'm hoping the workforce can get me a good job, like the one at the bank, that Tiffany does.. that'd be nice, a nice air conditioned place, steady work hours, and decent pay. The biggest issue would be driving, but if me AND chloe work at the same place, it'll save on gas and time.. :3

If they do hire me... oh well. It's nothing I'm not used to. I know the job, I know the physical labor.. I'll probably need to be re-trained to learn all the new s**t they have there.. I think they have a new computer system for the register and everything now.. @_@..

That's fine though, that stuff is pretty easy.. I kind of wish Chloe would've gotten the job too, so I wouldn't be alone.. we may not be able to see eachother all the time, but it'd be nice to have someone know what i'm going through, to know the BS I had to put up with, kinda..

I'm oddly excited about working there again, though.. I think it's because I know the job so well that I don't care anymore. I think it's because I'm pretty sure there's a new management system thing going on too, and they actually give a ******** what the store managers do, instead of letting them do whatever the ******** they want. It'll mean things will be stricter -- but if it means the ******** c**t (juanita) has 0 say in anything - ******** yeah. She's not even manager, either, lol.

Speaking of -- I think she quit, too. I haven't seen her working there.. or if she does, she may only work the graveyard shift on weekends.. which would be PERFECT for me, because I'd LOVE to work 4 days a week and then have the weekend off.. work my a** off all week, and then go hang out with barry and have cash in pocket on the weekend? ******** YES! biggrin

So I"m kind of excited.. here's to hoping.

In the end, it doesn't really matter anyways.. I gotta do what I gotta do.. I'll just channel that happy place, and remember that happiness is a way of life, not something you achieve.
