Spike. I have lots of friends, or so I like to think. Most of them wouldn't accept the knowldege that I RP in the same respect that they think its weird I play video games. I'm sure its not a concsious thing though; not many girls I know play video games like I do anyway. Thats why the internet is so great. You can meet complete strangers who seem to understand the part of you that your friends would never acknowledge exists. For example, my RP buddy, Spike, he's a true blue guy. I talk about Roleplaying and he understands what I'm saying with impeccable literacy; unlike so many of our time. While my friends at home understand the day to day me, I still have someone else who understands the less pronounced me. Like when I'm feeling social and sarcastic, I go to my everday friends. When I'm feeling creative and need someone who won't roll their eyes or won't make jokes from my writing, I come here. Its kinda comforting.
