Sonic Riders (a story and game) Part 35 Paradise Lake
(I forgot to tell you that the trail starts as a really great grassfield,then into a scorching desert)
Knuckles: Hey,Tails. How much longer are we going to walk? We're going to dehydrate a lot now.
Cream (holding out their water supply) : Even our water is dehydrating.
*Cheese makes some sounds*
Sonic: Then,let's go ride. It'll be faster.
Tails: We can't. This area uses up a lot of air.
Cosmo: Then if we do use the boards, the boards will only last a few minutes?
Amy: Well,the boards need air so probably.
Rouge (thinking) : That's bad. Even my water supply is dehydrating.
Amy: What are we going to do?
Sonic: The only thing we can do.
Knuckles: Run?
Sonic: Yes.
Cream: But,we'll dehydrate more if we do that.
Cosmo: I can't you my Nature Power to make a path because we don't have enough a the same item for me to use.
Tails: Why not use your teleportation?
Cosmo: That's a problem. We end up at random places everytime I do it.
Knuckles: So what are we going to do now?
Amy: Dig under the sand to make a cold underground tunnel?
Tails: That's a great idea,Amy! Where did you get that from?
Amy: It was a random guess.
Knuckles (wearing his shovel claws) : Then,let's go. I'll dig the way.
*Knuckles digs into the sand and makes a tunnel*
*The team goes inside the tunnel*
*Cheese makes some satisfacted sounds*
Amy: This coldness down here feels much better than that sizzling sun up there.
*Knuckles digs up and reaches the edge of Paradise lake*
Knuckles (getting out) : Is this the place?
*Everybody gets out*
Tails and Amy: This is the place!
(Paradise Lake has a giant lake surrounded by large palm and fruit trees. There are other fruit plantation (bushes,vines,etc.) around the lake)
Rouge (thinking) : This place is the right temperature and has a really fantastic setting.
*Rouge imagines something mushy*
Rouge (disagreeing) : No way that could happen.
Cream: This place is really big. And no one is here but us.
*Cheese makes some sounds*
Sonic: It's all thanks to Amy's idea that we got here.
Amy: Aw,shucks.
Cosmo (looking at the lake) : This lake is so beautiful......
*Tails smiles*
Cosmo (noticing Tails) : What?
Tails: Nothing.......
Cream (flying,grabbing a coconut) : Yay! Now Cheese and I can drink some coconut milk!
Knuckles (looking up at the sky,thinking) (smiling) : I hate to admit it,but this place is kinda nice.
Amy: You okay,Knuckles?
Knuckles: Yeah.
Sonic: These grapes look juicy;they didn't even dry up into raisins.
Amy: Let me see,Sonic!
*She runs to the grape vines*
Cosmo: I can't reach that apple.....
Tails (picking up Cosmo) : I'll help you.
*Cosmo picks a juicy apple*
Cosmo: It's lucky for me that you can fly.
*Tails smiles*
*They fly down*
Cream (drinking coconut milk) : Yummy!
*Cheese makes some sounds*
*Knuckles tries to get a banana*
Knuckles: How am I suppose to get that banana?
*Rouge throws down a banana;making sure it fell down normally,and Knuckles not notice her*
Knuckles (picking up the banana) : Huh? Oh,well. At least I got one.
*He unpeels the banana and munches it*
*Rouge smiles happily and friendly*
Amy (eating a grape) : Wow,these are juicy!
Sonic: I've never eaten pineapple before. I'll go try one.
*He runs to the pineapple tree*
Amy: Wait for me,Sonic!
