Sonic Riders (a story and game) Part 44 Rouge's Rescue
(They all are in the dreadful part of the Gate World.)
Rouge (gusting) : You are so going to regret this,Shadow!
Shadow (pulling Rouge) : Be quiet and shut up!
*Shadow sees a large,dark figure about 2 1/2 miles away from them*
Shadow (thinking) : Perfect.
To Knuckles........
(The dark,shadowy aura cannot be seen by anyone (except Shadow) because it blends in with the dreadful part.)
Knuckles (looking back) : Is something following me? I don't see anything.
*He looks in front,and he grunts again*
Knuckles (a hand on head) : Ouch,there my headache goes again.
*The dark,shadowy aura approaches closer to Knuckles*
To Sonic......
Cream (hugging Cheese) : This place is scary.....
*Cheese makes some afraid sounds*
Sonic: It's not that bad.
*A slight chatter comes from his teeth*
Amy: Oh really,Sonic?
*Sonic carries Amy immediately,and Amy shuts up*
Cosmo: Tails,this place is giving me the creeps. Where are we going anyway?
Tails: I thought you knew where we were going.
Cosmo: Not at this place.
Big: Is that bad?
Cosmo: I guess so because we don't know where we are going.
Jenny (following the trail) : We're going to go to the center. The scent is the strongest there.
Sonic: Then,we'll keep walking straight ahead.
*They keep walking straight ahead*
To Knuckles (Again) .....
*Knuckles eyes turn bright red,and he charges toward the center quickly*
To Shadow and Rouge (Again) ........
(They reached the center of the dreadful part where there is a large,dark figure in front of them.)
Shadow (grasping Rouge tightly,thinking) : Finally,we're here. The dark eco crystal will turn anybody evil if they touch it with their whole body. The only cure is (he says "Yuck!" at this part.) true love. I still can't believe that's the cure.
Shadow: Now,Rouge, back to evil you go!
*He pushes Rouge toward the dark eco crystal,but Rouge is stopped by a fast,red object*
*Knuckles' tail slightly touches the dark eco crystal*
Shadow: Knuckles!
*Knuckles brings Rouge to a safe,slightly distant part,and his eyes turn back to normal*
Rouge: Knuckles?
Knuckles (smiling) : I'm here now.
Knuckles (looking at Shadow,eyes red) : It's payback time for what you've done,Shadow!
*He charges at Shadow,and Shadow gets hit more badly than the last time*
Shadow (getting up) : You'll pay for that!
*He takes out his Chaos Emerald*
Knuckles: You're going to need more than that to beat me!
Shadow: It's all I need. Don't you worry.
*He disappears behind Knuckles and grasp Rouge by her neck*
Knuckles: Rouge!
Shadow: If you're going to hit me,your girlfriend here will go with it.
*Knuckles growls,disappointed in that he can do nothing to save Rouge*
*Sonic and the others arrive*
Sonic (dropping Amy) : Oh no!
Amy: Ouch!
Tails: Knuckles!
Knuckles (thinking,growling) : What can I do to save Rouge?
Jenny (running towards Knuckles and Shadow) : Knuckles! Rouge!
Knuckles: Jenny,stop!
*Jenny stops,confused*
Shadow: If you attack me, (he holds Rouge up) your little friend will go with it.
*Rouge grunts in pain,and Jenny looks at Shadow with an angry and disappointed face*
Knuckles (taking out his Chaos Emerald) : Rouge,you're going to have to trust me on this!
Rouge (quietly,one eye open) : Alright,Knuckles.
*He throws his Emerald to Jenny,and she catches it*
Shadow: What in the world?
*All the Chaos Emeralds all go to Jenny (even Eggman's Emeralds),and surround her*
(Short part-
Eggman: What in the world?!)
Jenny (chanting) : Chaos Emeralds,help me with this. Help me be helpful with my friends.
*The Chaos Emeralds glow brightly*
Sonic: What in the world?!
Knuckles: Everyone! Hide!
*The team hides under different things ,and Knuckles runs quickly toward Shadow*
Shadow: What is going on?!
*Knuckles jumps up high and covers Rouge*
Jenny: Explosion!
*A bright,large circle comes from Jenny and hits the whole dreadful part*
*Everyone who was not hiding got hit (and Jenny,too) *
*The explosion stops,and everything is ruined*
*Sonic and the rest get out of hiding*
Amy: What happened?
*Cosmo sees Jenny,injured*
*She runs to Jenny and helps her*
To Knuckles and Rouge.......
*Knuckles and Rouge get up,in front of each other*
Knuckles (eyes back to normal) : Um.
exclaim Warning! Mush content increasing!
Rouge (blushing) : Thanks for saving me.
Knuckles: Uh,no problem.
*He grunts in pain*
Rouge: Knuckles! Are you okay?
*She looks around him and sees that the tip of his tail turned black*
Rouge: What happened to your tail?!
Knuckles (stopping grunts) : It happened when I got you away from the dark figure.
*Rouge gasps and remembers*
Knuckles: It's just a bruise. I'll be okay.
Rouge (thinking) : Hopefully.
To Sonic and the others (Again) .......
Jenny (getting up) : It worked.
Cosmo (helping her) : That was a risky move,Jenny.
Jenny (looking at her) : I know.
Sonic: Where are Rouge and Knuckles?
Big (pointing straight ahead) : There they are!
*They spot Knuckles and Rouge walking back*
Cream: They made it!
*Jenny and Cosmo walk back to them*
Tails (in front of Jenny) : What happened to the Chaos Emeralds?
Jenny: Unfortunately, using that attack pushes the Emeralds into outer space. So that's what happened.
Tails: Geez,now we're going to have to go into outer space.
Knuckles: Did you say we have to go into outer space?!
Tails: Yes,but I thought you knew that. After all,you were the one who threw your Emerald to Jenny.
Knuckles (hand behind his head) : Well,it was random.
Cosmo: Okay.......
Rouge (flying) : We gotta find a way out of here!
*Froggy wakes up*
Froggy: Ribbit?
Big: Froggy! You're awake!
Froggy (happily) : Ribbit!
Amy (panicing) : Can anyone get us out of here?!
Cosmo: Jenny and I can.
Jenny: We're going to work together.
*The dark,shadowy aura diappears*
*Cosmo puts her hands around her red oval,and Jenny puts her head down*
*They make a bright light,and they wind up on an ocean shore*
Cream: Amazing.......
Tails (flying) : Follow me!
*They follow Tails (even Rouge) *
*Tails stops at a large part of the ocean shore where there are 8-12 trees*
Amy: Why are we here?
Tails: Watch.
*Tails claps his hand, and a large space ship appears from out of the ground*
Rouge: Very.....
Knuckles: Surprising.....
Tails: Let's go in! Our new adventure awaits! With Rouge!
Everybody (smiling) : ALL RIGHT!!!!!!!
Meanwhile......
*Shadow grunts trying to get up (the light hit him,too) *
Eggman (on moniter) : Shadow! Are you alright?! Shadow!
Shadow: I'm fine....
*Shadow gets teleported to Eggman's "doctor's office" *
Eggman: Shadow! I told you to go to your capsule! Not somewhere dangerous!
Shadow: I am sorry,doctor.
Eggman: I'll heal you the faster and easier way.
*He pulls out a small container filled with some green material*
*He drops a drop on Shadow,and Shadow is cured all the way*
Shadow: What did you use to cure me?
Eggman: My grandfather's secret healing potion. Now rest,Shadow.
*Shadow lays down*
Eggman (thinking) : Now that the Emeralds are gone,I must find Sonic and his friends to figure out where they are.
*Eggman smiles and laughs*
Eggman: They can't be on Earth so they must be in outer space! And I thought my spaceship would be useless! Hohoho!
*He laughs very hard*
