Well, the studying that I managed to get done paid off, I guess. I got an 89% on this week’s E.F.M. quiz. That’s a lot better than the 78% I got on the last one. Eric is such a good tutor, or maybe I’ve just been taking better notes in class. In any case, I’m happy about that. You’d think Mr. Horitt would be happy to see me improve too, but he seemed to pick on me more than usual that day. He kept calling on me for answers, asking “why this”, and “why that”. Do I really need to know the dynamic energy flux coefficient to have a happy normal life? I wanted to just point my phasing sigil at the ground and create an earth wall all around me. I felt like a nervous wreck by the time class was over. So I’m glad that, this being Friday, I can go to meditation class and relax for a change.

Later tonight, I’m going to write to my friend Hannah, who’s back home in Penn’s Woods. She just recently returned from a vacation to Winter Haven. She has told me about the beautiful beach they went to and the warm breezes, the late night parties, terrific food and the cute boys in the room next door. She’s so lucky! As for me, it’s three weeks until finals, and I’m feeling the pressure!
