Sonic Riders (a story and game) Part 61 Still Searching
(Sonic is in the resting room wrapped in bandages and harshly wounded.)
To the main room.......
Tails: Sonic sure had a big beating.
Chris: Of course-Sonic was slammed onto by Storm! Who wouldn't get hurt badly by that?!
Cosmo: Let's just let Sonic heal as fast as he can by himself for a while.
Cream: I think that's for the best.....
*Cheese nods its head*
Amy (thinking) : Oh,Sonic-you get hurt once and then a minute later,you're hurt again! When will you heal,Sonic? I want to go on a date with you!
Big: Is something the matter,Amy?
Froggy: Ribbit?
Amy: Oh-nothing,nothing at all. Heh heh.....
(Amy puts on a sweatdrop .)
To the deck........
Jenny (sniffing space) : Nothing seems to be wrong out here-I don't sense anything bad.
Jenny (thinking) : But why did Jet come here? He doesn't care about the Emeralds after all.......... What is his purpose?
Rouge (landing in front of Jenny) : Jenny?
Jenny: Oh-Rouge!
Rouge: Have you seen,Knuckies?
Jenny: "Knuckies?"
Rouge: Oh,sorry-I mean Knuckles. I've been searching for him all afternoon.
Jenny: Well,he could be in the engine room next to the Master Emerald.
Rouge: I know,but I already checked there.
Jenny: Do you have feelings for Knuckles?
Rouge: Don't change the subject!
Jenny: All right-yeesh. Maybe he's at the back of the deck,or maybe he's loading some boxes somewhere.
Rouge: Well,I guess I could try them. Thanks,Jenny.
*Rouge flies off into the basment*
Jenny (thinking) : Rouge does has feelings for Knuckles,but Knuckles won't show his. He's pretty embarrassed about that. Silly.
To the resting room......
Sonic (waking up) : Oh,my head.......
*Sonic looks around the room*
Sonic: I'm in the resting room. I was pounded onto the ground-I remember. Best if I get some rest.
*Sonic lays down again,hoping that he will recover quickly*
Out a few miles into space.........
Knuckles (riding on his board) : Man,it feels like the team is going in slow-motion! There's nothing fun to do around here! I guess I'll go ahead and get a head start on that Emerald-I think the planet was Saturn,right?
*Knuckles heads toward Saturn*
To the Blue Typhoon (Again) .........
Vector (frustrated for some reason) : Hmmmmm..........
Espio (with a sweatdrop ) : Um,Vector? Why are you frustrated?
Vector (still frustrated for some reason) : Who said I was frustrated?!
Charmy (also with a sweatdrop ) : Well-you,uh,just shouted like this-
Charmy (imitating Vector) : Who said I was frustrated?!
*Vector punches Charmy on the head*
Vector (still frustrated for some reason) : I didn't say anything like that!
Charmy (hands covering his head) : Owww........
Espio (still with a sweatdrop ) : This is idiotic......
To the main room (Again) ..........
(Shadow is awake.)
Shadow (in the prison again,thinking) : I knew the doctor had a glitch in his head.......
Cream (thinking) : Shadow must be couped up in there since he's always trying to escape. Maybe he is good,and Eggman is bad.......
*Cheese stares at the heavily sleeping Eggman*
To Rouge........
Rouge (thinking) : Knuckies-you are not on the ship or in the ship. You must be out in space,but where in space?
Rouge (shouting) : Knuckies,where are you?!
Out a few miles in space (Again) .......
Knuckles: Hm? Rouge? How could I hear Rouge-she's about 3 miles away from here. I could've sworn I heard Rouge call my name.
*He heads for Saturn again*
To the Blue Typhoon (Again) ............
Jenny (sniffing space) : Something's not right,it's peaceful-too peaceful.......
*Jenny senses another storm around a few miles away*
Jenny (sniffing space) : The rare storm on Saturn is beginning-I smell Knuckles, too. Knuckles may be tough,but his wounds are major. Why does he force himself into dangerous stunts?
Rouge (landing in front of Jenny) : Jenny,I looked inside and outside of the ship for Knuckles! His wounds aren't treated yet!
(That means he isn't bandaged,etc.)
Jenny: What?! If he ends up into the storm on Saturn,his wounds will spread out through his body-he'll become weak enough to go into death!
Tails (coming out) : Jenny,we're going too slow right now so we're using the hyper boost-holding onto something,okay?
(I made the hyper boost up.)
Jenny: Right,oh,and make sure not to go too close to Saturn-another storm is on it.
Tails: Right!
*Tails heads inside and turns on the hyper boost*
*They go toward Saturn full speed ahead*
On Saturn.........
Knuckles (riding around) : Man,this moniter doesn't work here-I think I'm out of reach.
*Knuckles spots a storm*
Knuckles: I'm not about to fall into a storm like Sonic and Amy but a little challenge will do! This may be dumb,but I don't care! I need a challenge!
*He runs toward the dangerous storm*
Oh no! Knuckles,why did you head toward the storm?! The rare storm on Saturn may not be as powerful as the Great Red Spot but it's still dangerous! You're lucky that your friends are heading toward Saturn! Be careful,Knuckles! Will Knuckles survive or die?!
